Museums were absolutely amazing. Traveling was easy to all the places we wanted to see. The ferry to other islands is an adventure you must see. I love the small town feel with so much to do. Be careful where you stay. There are some good deals on hotels, but, check the reviews before you book your room. There are so many beaches that you have good access to. We are motorcycle riders. There is a really cool bar on the beach called Woody's. Great views, friendly bar tenders. We ate at Doc Holiday's. Love it here. Have stayed several times. I love to stay on the Seawall close to the beach. Galveston is a beautiful city with wonderful old architecture and lots of shops and restaurants to satisfy every one.
