Downtown Fredericksburg is cute with lots of shops, although most are pricey. Free street parking! Many, many wineries nearby!
Lady Bird Park is amazing! We were in town for viewing the solar eclipse, and they treated us like royalty! No charge for admittance. No parking passes needed. Tons of staff available throughout! Permanent restrooms and tons of porta potties. Free eclipse glasses. Food and souvenirs available. The park is big, beautiful, and well-maintained. We were in a car, but there were camping sites too. Surprisingly fast and easy getting out of the park due to folks directing traffic. Kudos to whomever was in charge of Lady Bird Park on April 8, 2024!

All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite.
All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite. Things went well with all reservations. The price for the rental was high dye to the eclipse. Even guides at enchanted Rock were helpful and allowed us in, even though we didn't have reservations.

I thought Main St in Fredericksburg was too expensive.
I thought Main St in Fredericksburg was too expensive. Most of the items we looked at were made in China and overpriced. We were disappointed in the items available and the prices.
I would have enjoyed seeing more of the town and learning more about the community.

Great town in the "Napa Valley" of Texas!
Great town in the "Napa Valley" of Texas! But just not Wine Country, Fredericksburg has so many things to do and great places to eat and drink. Early Texas and German culture mixed with a first-class atmosphere!

Fredericksburg was founded by German immigrants in the early 1800s it's one of the biggest wine making areas in Texas it's a wonderful town full of charm old old homes that are beautiful many many shops and a great place to visit
Location was great. Just a 2 min drive to the restaurants and shops. Very clean and convenient for pets. Breakfast pastries and cookies were offered. Our room was in a perfect location secluded from the other guests, in a house by itself. More of a home feel than the usual hotel rooms. Got a complimentary wine as a gift. No streaming apps to use to watch television, which is what I like. It was very quiet were we were.
Check in person was most helpful, checked us in ahead of schedule so that we could attend a musical production slated for 2:00 PM. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Assigned us a very quiet section of the third floor. Excellent breakfast selection. We stayed at a Laredo, Texas La Quinta Hotel 2 weeks before and our stay in Fredericksburg was also most excellent.
This is a great property and close to downtown Fredericksburg. The facility is clean and spacious, check-in was quick and the clerk was very friendly. We were given an extra large room for no additional cost. The breakfast in the morning is nice and has good pastries, coffee and bagels/cereal. I highly recommend the Peach Tree!
The hotel is on the edge of town so there’s no traffic or parking issues. Plenty of parking on the property. Room looked and smelled clean, A/C worked great, water pressure was good, and the mini fridge and microwave were both clean and functional. Luggage carts available, too.
Location was great. About a 10 minute walk to downtown Fredericksburg or a short drive. Plenty of space for 10 people. The beds were comfortable. Loved the large island in the kitchen and the huge couch in the living room. Large outdoor space for entertaining.
This place is right on Main street.
We like it because you can walk all the way down on one side of Main and return on the other to cover all stores!! We have stayed here several times. The place is good for the price.
Great budget stay in Fredericksburg! Clean, comfy, friendly staff, felt safe, and right down the street from downtown. No frills but has everything you need and feels cute and local, would stay again for sure!
I prefer staying some place that is not a chain and Hotel Kitsmiller fit the bill. Vintage travel lodge, unique decor. Our room was clean and comfortable with a kitchenette. They're also pet friendly.
I highly recommend this house. Thoroughly remodeled. Great location near Main Street. The perfect stay if you need 3 bedrooms. We really enjoyed our time in Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock.
Superb location and great little hotel. Clean and spacious rooms, in quiet surroundings and very close to the main street with access to everything in walking distance. Great amenities.
Easy access to Enchanted Rock Natural Area. Pretty easy access to Fredericksburg. Nice wrap-around porch. Plenty of room for the kids to play. Having longhorns next door was a bonus.
Value for money was fab. Was perfect for a sleep whilst driving through. Staff were helpful and friendly and room was very clean. worth the money. Would visit again.
