Breakfast was good. I paid extra at my booking for breakfast. I was given coupons to cover breakfast, but only after I asked for them to honor my prepayment. I took my coupons to get breakfast & the waiter told me the coupons only covered the meal, not the tip. Feeling pressured, I told him to bill a $5.50 tip to my room. He proceeded to bill our breakfasts & tip to my room. Which I had to straighten out at my check out.
Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge is located just off I-80 and I-580.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and found it very pleasant: the rooms are large and comfortable. You can hear the traffic outside quite a bit, but you get used to it in the background. It takes about 1 hour to get to SF city by public transport: there's a free shuttle bus to Bart station and the 57 bus that goes past traders Joe. I chose this hotel because it's within walking distance of the Emeryville station, so it's about a 20-minute walk.
Located 6.4 km away from Downtown Oakland and the Oakland Convention Center, this 100% non-smoking Emeryville hotel offers free WiFi. An outdoor swimming pool and hot tub are located on site.
This hotel is adjacent to Jack London Square, just 12 minutes’ walk from the closest BART station. Free WiFi is provided to guests of this hotel. A cable TV is provided in each room at Jack London...
Located 4 blocks from University of California-Berkeley and 20 minutes from downtown San Francisco, Travelodge by Wyndham Berkeley offers completely non-smoking guest rooms with free WiFi.

The location was ok, the room was clean and of decent size. Parking was next to the hotel building and was easily accessible.

I had to stay with two dogs and the check in was very simple, they made me feel welcome with them, the pet fee wasn't too steep, the parking was simple and the front desk was very accommodating when it came to loading in and out.

Housekeeping, they never cleaned our room, when I called housekeeping we were told that we had to call 24hrs ahead of time. When we arrived in our room during our 1st day, there was a dirty crumpled pillow case, the conditioner bottle is empty in the bathroom, so I assume they never cleaned nor checked on the room.

I stayed here for my 50th High School Reunion. The young man at front desk was so polite and gave me a beautiful room with view of S.F.
I have a bad back....my mattress was perfect...nice and firm.
Thank you Sonesta for a great sleep.

Good location for tourists.
Good location for tourists. Easy access by car to everything and great for shopping (lots of people visited the mall around the block). Easy access to highways, although a bit tricky to find the first time.
Busy hotel which accommodated my requests, and very friendly front staff. Has a pool but it is not extra clean, a risk in times of COVID.

Emeryville is about 40 minutes by public transport from San Francisco. There is a free bus service going round taking you to the MacArthur BART (local rapid transport) station. It is perfect if you want to stay out of town and/or come on the Californian Zephyr or any other Amtrak train.
There is a Trader Joe's about 200 metres away. And a couple of small malls nearby not to mention an IKEA in walking distance.
I paid extra for a sea view and that was really worth it. There are buildings in the way so not interrupted vies but still stunning.

Very close to UC Berkeley.
Very close to UC Berkeley. Book here if your purpose is going to visit your kids in UC Berkeley because even the cheapest flea-infested inns, hotels and motels in Oakland will cost you an arm and a leg! Hotels in Emeryville are better compared to ones closer to UC Berekeley.

I liked the fact that checking was easy few simple question and a very friendly gentleman quickly got us to our room. The room was a nice size and not horribly tacky like most hotels are, enjoyed the fact that the comforter has a removable duvet so it could be properly cleaned. The bathroom was a good size and the double shower heads were a bonus. The location made it easy to get onto the bay bridge which was pleasant. Over all a great stay.
I liked the location the best. It's right next to the freeway and a block from a shopping center.
We went to the San Francisco Zoo, Oakland Zoo, and Tilden park. They were all a short distance from the hotel. It was extremely quiet at night and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
Everything was great at this hotel from the minute I arrived. Reception staff was friendly and efficient. Room was spacious, modern, really clean with kettle, microwave, free WiFi, comfy bed and lovely bathroom.
Breakfast was delicious with many choices available and layout of food area was exceptional.
Bed was comfortable. Pillows fluffy. Check in and out process was very easy. Price was same as quoted by Booking.com. Pool wasn’t open. Hotel provided extra coffee pods and creamer for the room when I asked. Also fairly easy walk from Amtrak station.
Friendly front-desk that let us check in quite early and secured us a good parking spot at a reasonable rate. Clean and modern room. Also a good location to take the express bus directly to downtown SF (station is in front of hotel).
The hotel was close to a wide range of shops and restaurants.
Transport was in easy access with the Emerygoround stops nearby for a quick trip to the BART. Amtrak station just a short walk.
The room was large and comfortable.
My car was broken into and the hotel did not have security or security cameras to reassure safety. I was very disappointed in their concern for my safety. Sonesta told me to contact Booking.com.
Easy in and out for driving. A nice variety of restaurant options within walking distance. Great breakfast served at the hotel. Room was clean and the hotel staff was exceptional.
The hotel was close to dining and shopping. Given that the airline lost our luggage, it was nice to find affordable replacements within walking distance.
