Spent 4.5 hours booking hotel and paying more than other hotel was and red roofs was extremely terrible conditions compared to cheaper hotel that was canceled prior, which was exceptionally frustrating! For a city of this size the entertainment was very...
For a city of this size the entertainment was very disappointing. There are one or two bars in the downtown area but overall its not a nice place to walk around after dark. Not much of interest to do and see apart from the Civil Rights route and related buildings which are by far the highlights of the city. If you are interested in sport, the wonderful Rickwood Field baseball stadium (the oldest standing ballpark in U.S.) is a real gem, just a few miles out of town.stevenUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

I'm biased because I lived here for college, but there are local attractions live Vulcan the Iron Man are worth visiting over a few days. Five Points South is probably the hub of nightlife. We loved our room, the kickback and breakfast was wonderful and it is located Close to restaurants and store. All employees were very friendly and accommodating. We traveled with a small dog. I loved that you were able to go out side doors and our key opened the door. The price of 50.00 each night was a little steep but our dog loved it.Tyjuana

It was also very quiet. Not sure if it was the side our room was on, but for New Years Eve we expected to hear a lot of outside noise. But to be fair, downtown in general was dead and you could eerily hear a pin drop.
