1) Bed was very firm by international guest standards, and small - i think westerners may not fit in the adult bed. I suggest warning guest ahead of time (that bed is firm like locals like) and either longer bed or warning about the beds being shorter than normal. -- 2) Not foreigner friendly - comms were in Chinese with no English alternate. Host defaulted to Line pay, which foreigners would not have. Recommend host to have a pre translated text to send for non Chinese guests. Check in process was not very smooth, needing us to check in with the guard , before the guard calling the owner/caretaker. Either a lock box or a unique code to show the guard would probably work best (booking.com has a unique code you can use.)

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in a lot. Sparkling clean, high-tech, beautiful, brand new facilities, helpful and attentive staff, luxurious amenities. Breakfast options were very plentiful and delicious. Good location too, only a few minutes by foot from Jiaoxi Transfer Station. The balcony onsen (mountain view option) was absolutely wonderful. So clean, peaceful and relaxing with a gorgeous view. I did not even want to put on music, as at night you hear a chorus of crickets and other sounds of wildlife from the surrounding mountains.

The staff went above and beyond what was expected. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were exceptional. The Japanese room was calming and the balcony allowed myself and my partner to unwind having a drink together. The out door spa was another highlight, the different pools were varied and the fish were a great bonus. Overall- from when we arrived until we left - I would like to reiterate how exceptional the staff were at every possible opportunity.
