The room was not big but was really well thought out. Hair dryer in a drawer with a picture of a hair dryer on it. That drawer below a sofa to make best use of the space. Two blinds to make it super dark if I wanted. All plug sockets etc right where you needed them. Super find will return the next time I'm in town.

Fantastic city undiscovered by Westerners. Art district is modern, fun and lively with lots of great art, restaurants, shops and even a movie theatre. Fo Guang Shan Buddhist site and museum is about a 30 minute drive out of town and has some very impressive pieces. Lotus Lake was interesting. Qijin Island was worth a visit--about a 20 minute walk then a 10 minute ferry ride.

SImple city , friendly, culvert system not good, too many motor cycles and it is dangerous for a small family riding on one bike, small kid in front, a parent driving, with older child sitting behind.

Kaohsiung is beautiful!
Kaohsiung is beautiful! There are a number of hiking trails that are easily accessible from the city. Lots of restaurant and cafe options around. More importantly though, it's the people. Taiwanese people are very friendly, respectful, soft-spoken, and generally pleasant. Will definitely go back to Taiwan.
2 minutes walking distance to tram (LRT) Dayi Pier-2 station. The hotel is surrounded by 6 tourist attractions. Easy to get halal food. Just take tram from dayi pier-2 station to shoushan park station. It is just twd10 per trip, very cheap.
The hotel's design was superb and the view from window was wowwwww. The wifi was superb speed!!!!
Highly recommended for muslim too who prefers water hose in the toilet. I dont want to rate this hotel 5 stars but i give 10 stars. Bravo....
The room was spacious, and in fact was on of the biggest room as compare to other place like Tainan, Taipei, etc.
Bathroom was big, clean, water pressure strong, and it the toilet seat comes with electronic bidet function. The location is super, less than 5 min walk to a train station and less than 8 min walk to a night market. Lastly the breakfast is fantastic, despite is a vegetarian buffet, it is delicious and plenty of options. No doubt, a 5 STARS hotel stay for me.
A great hotel located in central Kaohsiung area. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious, and there are also snacks and drinks available in the afternoon and evening which was great. All the staff are very friendly and kind. The hotel is located a short walk from Formosa Boulevard, so it is easy to get around to the sites and other places in Kaohsiung.
The absolute best part of this hotel is the wonderful staff. They are so kind, friendly, and you feel so welcome there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking is limited but they do find a way to accommodate. Free ice cream and coffee round the clock is a nice touch. It is convenient to the light rail and only 3 stops to the Kaohsiung exhibition center.
very convenient location - few mins walk from Kaohsiung station, fast food shops and convenience stores nearby
buffet breakfast is good
Overall, the room is clean and comfort (except some stains on the carpet )
very appreciate the hotel to prepare a breakfast box for me in the early morning 5:30am
as I need to catch the early morning flight to home
Booked a deluxe suite and it was the best value for my money in Taiwan; great price; Huge suite (bedroom, living room, eating room, bathroom); tub in bathroom; good channels on TV; hot shower; amazing breakfast; self-use laundry machine in hotel; gave evening treats for free; friendly and amazing staff; location close to two metro stops.
The hotel is very cheap compared to the location. A large, spacious room with a work desk and views of Kaohsiung city. The staff provide good service and have a self-check-in service. Clean room, good equipment, good service, everything, big bed. The location is close to the light rail and subway.
Very convenient location close to Kaohsiung train station, nice small eateries nearby. Maybe the best hotel breakfast I had in Taiwan before (if you like Taiwanese style breakfast :) ). Room has everything you need even for a longer stay (small wardrobe, fridge, small desk, hot water dispender).
Super centralised and near mrt and bus stops. Conveniently located in the Central Area of Kaohsiung. Super great staff who were very nice and upgraded our room for our honeymoon stay. Super friendly. Even washing machine and dryer all provided at the rooftop.
Probably the best hotel I've stayed in, in terms of bang for your buck. Brilliant view. The staff and hotel clearly go out of their way to be the highest-ranking hotel in Kaohsiung and they totally deserve it.
Nice hotel. the staff was really polite and helpfull. Lots of good restaurants around, close to a metro station and public bike stands. Walking distance to some of my favorite bars in Kaohsiung. Would go back
The room was lovely and spacious. It was very clean and I had a nice view of Kaohsiung. Check in was easy and there was free coffee in the lobby. Bed was super comfortable! Would definitely stay again!
The service is nice, also the facility and room are clean. The room is same as the picture on the hotel’s website. The most impressive one is the sauna! Better than any hotels that I’ve stay in Taiwan.
location is about 10mins walk from kaohsiung main station. bathroom was quite spacious. bed was quite comfortable too. Staffs at the hotel are very friendly, feels like home.
Go to Kaohsiung , and , to watch the “ National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying)” performance , stay at this hotel , will be my first choice .
