Plenty to do in Penghu and round Magong if you have a scooter. Otherwise there is little public transportation. Fireworks from April to June a highlight. The owner was the friendliest man who really put in the extra effort to make our stay in Penghu as enjoyable as possible. He gave us very helpful advice on how to get around on the island and even lent us bikes when we needed them. The included breakfast was very nice local food.
