A lovely hotel with very friendly hosts. Always willing to help with anything we need. We only stayed one night, but we wanted to stay more days. The hotel has a few animals around, which makes the stay even more interesting. Breakfast is delicious (we can make great waffles).

She was always available she prepared extremely tasty breakfast and dinner for us and helped us with everything. I didn't think there was such a level of professional care that a host could provide. We loved every minute of it despite the bad weather. Extremely extremely highly recommended place!

The location being close to the airport was a key factor in our planning. However, I would consider staying at the Grad Strmol on future trips both on arriving as well as on departure. It was fabulous.

The town is not far from the Julian Alps and from Ljubljana.
The town is not far from the Julian Alps and from Ljubljana. Even Postojna or the seaside towns can be visited from Cerklje. There is a good skiing slope in the vicinity. I recommend this town for summer and winter holidays as well.

The room had everything we needed and was very clean. In the morning there was literally no staff around, even for check-out - we simply left the room keys at the counter. Big and well equipped kitchen, nice fluffy towels in the bathroom, smart tv and a great bed. We stayed here due to our early flight and because we saw they do free airport shuttles. Staying a few days longer would be nice because the place is so comfortable, but I don't think there is much to do in the area so that's a consideration

Looked like a postcard! Staff was very friendly, informative and accommodating. We have a family of 5 and everyone had a bed. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was amazing!! We arrived at the airport in less than 6 minutes:) We will definitely return the next time we are flying out of Ljubljana.
