Honoured by Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi, one of the holiest mosques in Islam, Medina is the 2nd most important Islamic pilgrimage site after Mecca. Surrounded by hills that have seen hundreds of people seek refuge in its oasis, this city has developed a range of modern facilities to host the pilgrims from all over the world.
Formerly named Yathrib, the city is also known as Madīnat an-Nabiy or ‘Prophet’s City’, and it’s also known as Al-Madīnat(u) 'l-Munawwarah or ‘Radiant City’. The Prophet Muhammad came to the city in the 7th century, seeking refuge from his opponents. According to Muslim theology, the last chapters of the Quran were revealed to him here.
The site where the Prophet lived is now occupied by the Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi or ‘Prophet’s Mosque’. Although the mosque has changed and expanded over the years, the green dome is part of the original sanctuary.
Places like the Masjid Quba mosque, the Masjid Al-Qiblatain mosque and the Al-Baqi Cemetery also represent important holy sites in Medina.
Whether you arrive directly at Medina’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport or come from Mecca or Riyadh, check out the accommodation deals on Booking.com before travelling.

Al Madinah is a significant religious destination for Muslims, boasting numerous religious sites such as mosques and historical landmarks. However, navigating the city can be challenging due to ongoing infrastructure work, particularly when attempting to reach places like the Masjid by car. Many religious areas suffer from inadequate parking or are completely closed off.

Madinah stay was wonderful road network and moving around city was good. The holy masjid Nabwee was easy access also the quba mosque the museum would definitely visit again . The al rashida mall was good and also ate in the hashe basha restaurant very good
Once I arrived, the staff checked my "paid" reservation and took me to a manager. The manager told me that my stay was " promoted" to a different hotel that is closer to almasjid annabawi / alharam. They gave .e a receipt that transfers me to Al Aqreq Al Madina hotel. I went there ( 3 minutes walk towards Haram), and the check-in, stay, and buffet were great. While I didn't stay at Emaar Elite, the way they treated me was professional, and I am happy I stayed in Al Aqeeq hotel.
what I liked is how professional the staff was, how spacious the rooms they gave us, me and my friend who had another room, the hotel was very clean, I enjoyed the amazing photos they have across the room, about the history of Al Madina and Makkah, it was fantastic, the view from our room was also beautiful, it was located perfectly for us, big shouts for the amazing reception team, Sultana and Raed for their wonderful job, they are professional and very polite
Location and staff support. I have stayed at three hotels on my tour of Saudi Arabia, and Jayden stood head and shoulders above the other two. The front desk staff were particularly nice and they would strive to address any issue you raise with utmost urgency. Services at the restaurant were meticulous. I will definitely stay at Jayden on my next visit to Madinah.
Hotel is very near to Masjid Nabwi, rooms are very clean, staff was very cooperative, reception staff was very supportive. Housing keeping was amazing especially House Keeping Manager Mr, Rafi and other staff Mr Farooq Dar supervisor and house keeping boy Mr, Jahangir. Thanks to whole. Team of view Al Madina for making this trip memorable.
Absolutely quick room service and staff was super friendly. I earlier stayed in Anwar Al Madina and our experience was worse. We paid more in Anwar Al Madina and the rooms were so dirty with poor room service.
The Taiba Hotel was just excellent and I would strongly recommend to everyone. This hotel is just opposite to Masjid door.
modern, good restaurant with continental and oriental breakfasts. friendly & helpful staff. excellent reception staff . the lady at reception was so efficient but unfortunately I didn’t get her name. she is a real credit to the hotel. MashaAllah well done! I’m so happy to see excellent Saudi staff too!
Extremely clean🙂... Courteous staff. Felt a sense of peace in the hotel room.
Super Value for money.
Will definitely visit again. Highly Recommended.
I stayed in about 15 different hotels in madinah and found it the best so far.
Breakfast was good, mostly arabic cuisine, but good quality.
I liked the room and if you are visiting
Al Madinah Al Munawwarah is good option to stay and is nearest to gate 368. Also grocery And restaurant next to hotel, the most I like when I spoke with Ms. Sultan at reception she gave me her adapter for my charger. Very good helping staff
It's one of the best hotel in the surrounding of Masjid Nabwi.
I have been to many hotels around, but if I have to advise, then this is by far the top hotel in Madinah, considering the cleanliness, service, and proximity to the ladies gate.
The LOCATION is awesome, room size is a little bit small but adjusted, I had with my family with 4 members, overall we satisfied and good return from the money.
I advised, must stay in Movenpick Anwar al Madinah Hotel.
the breakfast amazing and super international breakfast and the location amazing and only to reach AL Madinah Al Munawwara Mosque need 3 min from hotel especially there are rooms overlooking the prophets Mosque
This is my second time at Ruve Al Madinah due to the hotel being close to the Ladies entrance.
Their on location restaurant facilities are good with plenty of choice and house keeping staff were excellent!
The staff were very helpful and this is my second stay in the same hotel. The first time was in the first ten days of Ramadan in the year 2023, and I will return again, God willing.
Everything was excellent, the service, the friendliness of the staff, the location, the breakfast buffet...for me, the best hotel in Madinah with good price.
