The owners are fantastic couple who couldn't be more helpful, booked a restaurant for us and opened the bar as it out/early season.
Rooms are comfy and basic and breakfast was good.

Private facilities. Magnificent garden, full of eclectic finds and plants. At night it becomes a wonderland. Francesco, the host, is super helpful. He ordered our takeaway(recommended), on realising the olives were unavailable he graciously supplied us from his own kitchen. How nice is that!!

Torreira is lovely - very little English spoken but locals...
Torreira is lovely - very little English spoken but locals are super helpful and friendly especially if you make an effort with Portuguese! French will also get you by. Torreira is quiet area with beautiful sand dunes and uncrowded fishing beach. Everything you would need within 5-10 min walk. Fabulous bakery close by and lots of great restaurants (especially the seafood one - need to queue to get a table!) supermarkets, chemist, post office (English spoken well here) and cafes. Can walk from one side of the spit of land to the other - 2 very different areas both equally beautiful. Would definitely return. (Taxis not easy to come by and unsure of public transport from Torreira). Sea is quite rough and swimming not often permitted except for a short stretch which is patrolled by lifeguards.Dr Dawn - 10Scored 10

Reception staff were all helpful and knowledgable about activities in the area. A pack was given to us on arrival of everything we needed to know. Plenty to see and do in the area. Pousada restaurant has a fabulous position and the food is good too. A good choice for breakfast.

Children really enjoyed the swimming pool! House was very clean and well looked after. Owners were amazing. They welcomed us on our arrival. They also helped us to plan our trips around Torreira. It was super nice that the owners bought for us some food for first night and morning :) Thank you!

Like something from 1970's Zimbabwe (design wise), in a good way! The staff were attentive, really efficient and genuinely nice. They went out of their way to help us organise a boat trip in the lagoon. I could spend days by the pool overlooking the water of the lagoon and watching the local fishermen go by in their traditional boats. A truly relaxing spot.StephenIreland
