Good stay during the Fishermen's trail. We didn't have high expectations, therefore we've been satisfied with the stay. It offers good location, free water, comfy beds - which is sufficient :)

Ok room for overnight stay. Wifi good. Bed was ok. Fridge in room was plus. A bit cold overnight. No aircon but heater should be in room.
Located 8 km from both Aljezur and Odeceixe, Quinta Pero Vicente offers rooms in a traditional white-washed house with a countryside location. This pet-friendly unit has free rental bicycles.

If you`re looking for a secluded location surrounded by nature this is the place for you. The location is an agritouristic place where you have an opportunity to stay in a 100-year-old traditionally-built house. The owner is very helpful and provides extensive information about the area, history, points of interests, maps, cuisine and everything that might interest you. The local breakfast is also a big highlight of the place. The house is pet-friendly, but please be aware that there are other, local animals there.
The Parque de Campismo Sao Miguel is located in Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. It offers wooden bungalows and 2 outdoor swimming pools less than 2 minutes’ driving from Odeceixe....

A lovely, picturesque town with amazing beach - finally one with no people. Completely different to Faro or Carvoeiro. Helpful people, great restaurants just right for the place. We highly recommend Taberna do Gabao.

The beach of Odeceixe sits a few km from Odeceixe, on the beach itself the variety and possibilities are limited, only a couple of restaurants, no real cafés, no shop to buy newspaper or any market available.
The beach itself is gorgeous and the cliff views are amazing, you even have the choice between a river or ocean beach next to each other.

Main beach lovely, Praia de Adega not very accesible, great views around but village somewhat rundown and totally dead at this time of year. Nowhere to go to eat except pastelaria for lunch time snack. Moving around Odeceixe is not easy. If I were to go again it woud definitely not be at Christmas/New Year.

We went mid January.
We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.

Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's
It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.

Overnight motorhome/campervan parking now illegal in Portugal so angry about this. You can only park in authorised campsites. Otherwise I love Odeceixe - back to nature, village has good restaurants and bars. If no transport it takes around 30 to 40 minutes to walk to beaches where there are cafes and shops. Rota Vibcentina cliff top walk on other side of estuary has stunning views across the Atlantic and is the only place in Europe where storks nest on coastal cliffs.
Hostel Seixe did not disappoint. It was very clean, homey, and kitted out with anything you could need if travelling or backpacking. Seixe is certainly the cleanest hostel I think I've ever stayed in anywhere. Odeceixe is a nice, small town, ideal for stopping over during a trip up or down the coast or to explore the Fisherman's Trail. The hostel is well located in the centre of town and walking distance to all amenities. Nadine and Matthias make every effort to make their guests welcome and comfortable. Thank you both!
Everything was meticulous and clean. Each day started on a good note with a proper hot shower and delicious breakfast. It’s been a while since a hotel has exceeded expectations. We went low season (Nov) so it was very peaceful and quiet. Beautiful and thoughtfully designed setting with a pool and gorgeous surrounding fauna. Location was a little further from Odeceixe beach than we expected (a short drive away) but was not an issue as it was so lovely and worth it. Highly recommend.
The "Alojamento Local" is a fully equipped flat with kitchen, living room, nice bedroom. Located in the pittoresque little town Odeceixe, it is perfectly located for an overnight stop (or two) when hiking the Fishermen's Trail, as we did. Since the apartment is fully functional, it could even be the spot for a more extended holiday. Initial contact with Lina, the owner, was nice and fool-proof. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The house is located at the upper part of the town above the old windmill. When you step outside the back door you have a beautifull view along the river towards the beach and in the evening you can see the sunset.
Vitor is an excellent host: absolutely friendly, ready to help and to give some very nice tips for surrounding destinations. We will come back!
The property is beautifully decorated, everything is gorgeous and thoughtfully placed. The dorm was a good size and had a really nice shower room that wouldn’t be out of place in a 5 star Parisian hotel! The lavender pouches on the pillows were a thoughtful touch. Right in the centre of town and good for hiking the fisherman’s trail
The location is on top of a very good fish&seafood restaurant. The staff is so kind and helpful an odeceixe is a beautiful place. The beach is super close and the view from the restaurant is stunning. In the room, you can hear nothing but the ocean.
Beautiful stop over on our trip from Lagos to Lisbon offering an adventurous walk to the beach through pine forest and sand dunes. A wake up call of the roosters and angry goose and eating fruit straight off the tree and a delicious breakfast.
Great location with a beautiful view over Odeceixe, but not so high that it becomes a challenge to walk up there.
The apartment was very nice and comfortable, perfectly suitable for a couple + one kid. Might be a bit too cozy for 4 persons.
Amazing house, location and host. The best place I stayed while travelling over Fisherman's trail. Vitor has deep knowledge about the local area and Portugal and is always happy to share it. Really grateful for the time there.
The location was easy to find and it was easy to access the rest of the town. The breakfast was excellent and included. The host was friendly but did not speak much English. We communicated in French.
the property had a beautiful view and great location. it was perfect for a few friends exploring the area. spent most of our time at the beach and didn’t cook at home much, but this place was great.
Centrally located in Odeceixe, the room was large and provided common kitchen and seating access. The host provided laundry service upon request. Check-in and check-out were very easy.
We weren’t sure what to expect but when we showed up we were so happy! It’s charming and everyone so friendly & helpful! It was our favorite breakfast in Portugal!!
