We were three people staying in a triple room. It was clean and spacious with a bottle of water for each person. No coffee facilities in the room. The bathroom was spacious. Everything was as described on the amenities list.
We drove by car and parking space was available infront of the hotel.
We went for a walk along the river and was amazed by the amount of fish, birds and fruit trees that we saw along the river.
There is a wonderful restaurant just next door.
A very nice breakfast was included in the price.

What can I say, absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! This was a trip to remember! The staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We did wine tasting with Andreia, it was amazing, again so knowledgeable and funny! We had a ball. I don’t even know where to begin with our suite, it was so special, the views, the grounds and facilities were nothing short of phenomenal.

We had the one bedroom apartment with balcony overlooking the Duoro River. It had a very nice kitchen and bathroom. The lounge had a twin bed which might have pulled out for a second twin if needed. The bedroom have a desk but no mirror and queen size bed and comfortable pillows and nice linen. All rooms have view of river and everything was spotlessly clean and modern. The breakfast was excellent with meat, cheese, bread, cake, jams, and scrambled eggs plus fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. The pool area had plenty of loungers and umbrellas and over looked the river. There was a walking trail along the river and the train was across the street as well as two restaurant.

Lovely breakfast and friendly helpful staff.
There are three local restaurants, value for money is definitely the Tapas across the road.
We found the other restaurants gave too much food, such a waste. You could get away with sharing one main even the small portion.
