The pool, rooms and breakfast were first class. Scenery around the hotel over the vineyards was excellent and the service sensational. All meal offerings of breakfast, lunch and dinner (including vineyard wines) were first rate but would like to see more seafood based dishes available.

Absolutely beautiful hotel would highly recommend, very central
Situated right next to Braga Train Station, Basic Braga by Axis features modern, air-conditioned rooms. The 24-hour staff can arrange car rentals and laundry/dry cleaning services.
Free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms are offered by this hotel on one of the main commercial arteries in the historic Braga. Liberdade Fashion Street Centre is only 100 metres away.
The 4-star Hotel Villa Garden Braga is set in a 19th century building in Braga. The spacious, air-conditioned rooms have a cable TV and a minibar. There is free WiFi throughout.

We stayed one night at the Hotel Villa Garden Braga but I would have liked to have stayed longer. We were due to stay in a standard double in the modern annex but got upgraded to a suite on the 3rd floor of the actual villa. This was a lovely period style room (18th/19th Century) which had 2 double beds and full length French doors leading onto a Juliet Balcony overlooking the garden. It had a small seating area, again with French doors leading onto a Juliet Balcony and a nice size bathroom. We opted to have half board and, although we seemed to be the only guests who were dining and the fact that they had 3 functions on that evening (Saturday), the staff were very attentive and the food was lovely.
