The location, the views, and the host, all are the best. I usually research places before I book them, and this is really good acco. If you are doubting this with another location, you can chose this for 1. peace of mind, 2. beautiful views, with nearby groceries 3. amazing interiors.

House of Ellie was fantastic. It is located at the end of a fjord so the anpartment and bedroom window looks across the fjord. We were there for almost midnight sun and Ellie set up chairs for us outside when we arrived. Spectacular views. It’s also located next to our favourite Tromso cafe. The room was very clean, extremely comfortable and had a fridge. Ellie was so helpful and very responsive to messages. We liked it so much that we’ve booked again for our return to Tromso in a few weeks.

Great communication from staff via message. The location is incredible and quiet. Near hiking spots where I managed to see wildlife. The views from the house are spectacular. Unfortunately I was not lucky with the weather, but I’m sure if the weather was better I would be able to see the aurora.

Great experience The house was well equipped with appliances and I loved the fireplace; the view from the window was so beautiful and the surrounding area was quiet. The landlord was super nice and offered to give us directions and even called us a cab when we couldn't get one to take us to town. We lost our wallet in the cab and the host helped us find it. The host was kind and welcoming. Upon our arrival, he gave us many useful tips on places to visit and local food to try. He also showed us maps with recommended attractions. The apartment was well-equipped with guidebooks featuring both summer and winter trails.
