Excellent location, close to the sea and to hiking trips. Beautiful surroundings, and a very well-preserved building. Worth a visit just to look at it and enjoy the garden, but well worth staying at. Very kind and helpful staff.

A lovely city on the sea side, we notably appreciated sea-food restaurants particularly during the cod season.
A visit to the maritime museum remains to be a must.
To be improved: some shops to find norvegian gifts...and local postacard !

Horten is a small town in the Vestfold region, on the coast of the Oslo fjord. It is quiet, peaceful and relaxed and the locals are very friendly. The houses are small, quaint and wooden and are as likely to have a boat outside as a car. Well-maintained gardens give way to fields and orchards. A mile away is the Borre Viking cemetery and grave mounds and the Midgardsenter visitor centre with an exhibition on the history and archaeology of the area, a reconstructed viking feast hall and regular tours of the cemetery. In August, the Midgardsblot Metal Festival takes place within the cemetery, with metal and folk bands interspersed with viking battles, ceremonies and games, a viking village and marketplace, attracting metalheads, re-enacters and pagans from all over the world.
New and modern facilities and a simple way of spnding a night without too much cost.
The staff was readily available on the phone and responded very positively and swiftly when problms arose.
The apartments were located in a quiet, but not very central place, easily accessible if you have a car, although there seems to be a bus connection from Horten.
There was a nice and hospitable place in the same building where you can buy a decent meal and play bowling.
This was my second time staying at Horten Apartment for a festival and I had another pleasant stay. I particularly like the fact that there is a small kitchen in the room so that I can make my own breakfast whenever I want.
The staff is friendly and the check-in/check-out with codes sent by email/sms is very easy.
The center of Horten is just ten minutes away by foot, which is pretty convenient.
Very polite and helpful Staff. I was lucky to be able to check-in earlier (room was ready).
The room is small, but for one person it is completely fine. Also, it is nicely organized (the kitchen part is awesome idea).
There is a bus stop right next to the building and a bigger market quite near the hotel.
I come from Holland.and was trave alone because my husband ldied in 2022 in june (28) but everyone from your staf was helping me
From 6/7 juli I was staying again in your hotel but then in Thon very very good and also that staf was super with the breakfast they help me because I walk with a stick
Everything just worked well, if one do not understand the new digital hotel thing, staff is "Johnny on the spot" to help you, always available to answer any questions about codes etc, and would you believe it, with a smile. That's kind of old fashion, friendly staff, but easy to get used to: )
Location was out of town but not too far away. The hotel itself is only 10 rooms, all sea rescue themed. There's a large restaurant but we were the only people at breakfast which was self-serve and no staff. Having charging point for the electric car was a big positive.
Receptionist helped us out with a slightly early check-in by giving us a bigger room. The budget hotel is within the larger and more modern hotel. Breakfast is in the newer hotel and is very good. Free parking behind the hotel. 2 minutes from the Horten-Moss ferry.
The hotel was very good and clean. It all looks new. The staff was so good and friendly! They were very helpfull. The breakfast is 24/7 and very good. You can walk from the bus to the hotel. It’s about 20 min walk.
I was not expecting for breakfast to be served like in restaurant :) And, actually, I was not expecting the whole hotel to be so authentic and high class!
Breakfast was excellent. Good location near Horten Ferry terminal. Very reasonable pricing. Lobby and restaurant athmospere / decoration was beautiful.
