This turned out to be the best place my family had, as we travelled 5000km across Norway and Sweden. - largely because of the wonderful host, Øyvind. He arranged a wonderful kayaking session in the fjord right in front of the basecamp, pointed us to beautiful sites around the area (waterfall, bathing area, dam), and guided us on the Svartisen glacier hike. Øyvind was very helpful, supportive and professional. Though Glonfjord is not as well-known as other fjords north and south of it, Øyvind had made this place very very special.

Clean and cosy hotel, and we liked the atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is not new and shiny but it really doesn't have to be, we had everything we needed. I slept really well. Mountain view from the window was also a plus. Could stay there anytime again.
