Room: stayed here for 5 days at the start of a longer trip to Japan. Previously in Tokyo, rooms have been on the small side, but here, we had plenty of space to arrange our luggage, and a very usable table and chairs that we found useful throughout our stay. The bed size was especially generous with lots of space. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge in the room. There was also an ice machine and a vending machine near the lifts which was useful. The room had a real sense of quality throughout and was excellent value for money.
Location: Located right on the famous Shibuya Scramble, there are excellent bus and metro links right next to the hotel. We found traveling around (the notoriously tricky) Tokyo public transport system very easy from the hotel. We were also within easy walking distance of shops with a huge choice of places to eat ranging from western to small local ramen places. There are also some really fun 3D billboards within 4 minutes walk of the hotel, well worth a look.
View; We were on the 11th floor and had a brilliant view across the city with a very clear view of the Shibuya Scramble from the lift lobby. This offered a really nice way to get a sense of things and people-watch when feet were tired and we wanted to escape the bustle of the streets for a moment or two.
Staff: The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The reception team were very happy to arrange luggage forwarding for us to our next destination, supply stamps for postcards and also make recommendations for local public baths (onsen and sentos).

Capsule was more spacious than I actually thought, it was clean and comfortable and cosy. The shared bathrooms were also clean, particularly the shower. Just the sinks could have a clean a bit more often but otherwise all good!
Centrally located in Shibuya, Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel offers spacious rooms with panoramic city views. The hotel features a fitness centre and a range of dining options.

Location, stone throws away from the heart of Shibuya and less than 10 minute walk to Harajuku! Views of Tokyo were incredible.
I was nervous about mixed reviews, but any "inconvenience' is outweighed by location, facilities at miyashita and staff at front desk, especially Connor who was super helpful.
Yes the trains are loud, and sometimes ambulances at odd hours of the night however it adds to the experience of being in an urban city (we are a family with young child, she slept through it all).
Yes the self check in tablets are not counter intuitive, however the staff and management have clearly reviewed practices and are there to assist/guide you through it. I'd like to call out Connor who was exceptionally helpful at both check in/check out and informative about our Yamato bag delivery, which made for a great customer experience.
Yes there are many ways to access the hotel via miyashita, we loved this aspect.
Yes the rooms are dark and moody, makes for an urban/eclectic vibe.. downside is that any spec of dust is visible against the dark carpet.
Yes the rooms are turned every 2 days, however, it's clearly advertised on booking sites, so no surprises. We asked a cleaner to pick up excess trash on the odd days and that was all we needed.
We booked the large twin room, which was perfect for a family of 3. Even 4. Given space is a premium in Tokyo and many similar urban cities, this far exceeded our expectations.
We have more than 70 million property reviews, and they're all from real, verified guests.
