Became friends with the sheep when staying there all by myself for a day. And the owner is one of the friendliest nicest people here I met so far. One of the best places I've ever stayed in! Fantastic location. Comfortable, nice rooms/houses. Owners/hosts extremely nice and hospitable. A very good breakfast - the homemade skyr was worth the whole trip to Iceland, unbelievably delicious!

Excellent choice considering location - host was polite, rooms very clean (to be honest, one of the cleanest places I have been), well equipped kithecn and spacious bedroom for 4 people. Breakfast was simple, but fulfilling. Would defenitely recommend to spend your night or two there while heading to East Iceland.

Nice modern hotel for a good price, a rarity in Iceland! We've paid more for hostels with a shared bathroom. Here we had a clean room with private bathroom, complementary coffee and tea, and a great view to top it off :-) Definitely try the Pakhús restaurant nearby: great langoustines and lamb! We walked toward the minigolf at midnight to see the northern lights and had a great night's sleep afterwards.
