The roof view is stunning, the family is lovely, and the location is near the ferry pier. Breakfast of pancakes and fruit and coffee was a nice way to start every day. I would stay here again! :)

My room was amazing!! Big, light, with a little kitchen and a good shower. The bed was definitely the most comfortable one in my 6 weeks traveling. The owner is very nice and the breakfast is great. The location is also very good.

This place is amazing, I loved everything about this resort. Rooms are clean, comfortable and very cozy. Resort has a lot of different areas for you to enjoy and relax. It's in walking distance to everything. Breakfast was so good I recommend you to get there early.

Great spot to use as a base to explore the lake for a few days. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. Good views from the rooftop where there is also a well equipped communal kitchen to be found. Nice chap running the place. It is in the centre of San Pedro so noise from the streets is inevitable.

The staff!!! The staff were so GENUINELY kind, helpful and hospitable. An example: we had to leave at 5 am for a shuttle and many hotels won't serve you breakfast outside their designated times, which is fair enough. Here the staff (who knew we were leaving early) approached us themselves and asked if we didn't want breakfast. I said we couldn't, we're leaving early, but that wasn't a problem. So they asked what we wanted and I said, well maybe we could get some fruit that is prepared in advance? Woke up expecting a bag with a banana and an apple or something but there were two HUGE fruit salad with yogurt, muesli and a banana waiting for us. The hotel was also nice, good room with a nice big bed, lovely rooftop terrace and nice (small) pool. We also loved the location, a bit away from the party area of the town and a bit more towards the local area.

I loved the location. A peaceful and serene location away from the noise but still close enough to enjoy activities around San Pedro. The bed was comfortable, and the room spacious. The view from the terrace in front was beautiful. They have a water dispenser, so you don't have to buy bottles and can use a reusable bottle. Didn't try the rooftop restaurant. However, I heard good things about it. The hotel is very close to Los Thermales, which is a nice way to unwind after an exhausting hike. The restaurant Al tempo nearby serves delicious pizza, and restaurant Idea Connection serves an amazing breakfast. Their pastries in the morning are the best.

    We enjoyed San Pedro. it was picturesque with the beautiful lake and mountains. It was walkable, also easy to get a TukTuk. If you walk up the hill into the village, you get past the tourist streets and see local life. There are plenty of restaurants and shops. Many of the restaurants had seating that looked out over the lake. The souvenir market sellers are not pushy. We went to a Mayan museum, Tzunun' Ya'. It was informative about the formation of the lake and the traditional life of the Mayan people. We didn't see sandy beach areas to throw out a blanket and sit by the lake.

    EquiRoast on 1A Calle close to the water opens not only at about 6:30/7 am but also has Caleb , the owner , who will offer a mind boggling amount of ways to make your coffee and also has nice , bitter DARK ROAST coffee ! Do not miss it !! It is important to know that the tuktuks only take you to the next town where you have to change to get to the next and then change tuktuk there again

    San Pedro La Laguna was a fun town to walk around. There are many Spanish schools there and many young tourists. Lots of fun and convenient bars and restaurants. The view of the lake and volcano is stunning.

    After one week in San Marcos which is great I got borred and went to the most popular tourist village on the lake San Pedro which is more authentic, cheaper, full of good restaurants and bars. There are many things to do and you can do tours like San Pedro vulcano, Indian nose, party on the boat, visit beautiful village of San Juan with colorfull town center and take beautiful walk to Mirador Kaqasiiwaan.

    San Pedro La Laguna is a great spot to experience Lake Atitlan. There are a lot of activites such as paddleboarding, taking a tuktuk to San Juan, visiting the mercado or doing Spanish school. There are also option for bar crawls and party boats if you're into that. The view is beautiful and the people are so friendly.

    We loved staying in this town because of the variety of waterfront restaurants and it felt a little less touristy than the other towns. You can easily walk or tuktuk to San Juan and you can easily access a quick boat ride to San Marcos as well.

    Beautiful hotel with incredible views across the lake (particularly at sunrise). Highly recommend taking the kayaks out for a paddle. The hotel is 15 mins from the centre of San Pedro and is much calmer and quieter than the main strip but an easy walk in. Mikaso is great value for money given how beautiful the setting is, they also upgraded us to a better room which was great!

    One of my favourite hotels on my trip! The hammock in front of all the rooms is an incredible touch, and the rooftop is stellar for sunsets. It's on the edge of town so it is very quiet. My room was simple but very comfortable and even included a chair and a small table.
