Apartment is very well protected against mosquitos. There are nets on every window and door. There are almost no need for Electric repellents, raids or other staff once you are inside.
There are no people around at all. This ideal place if you want solitude.
There are more than enough space for a family with two kids.
Landlady is a very kind and friendly person.
Netflix was a nice suprise.

Iraklitsa is small, you can visit it on foot or by car, but it is difficult to find parking. On most beaches, the sunbeds are crowded and you have to eat something from the bar. There are many terraces where you can eat.

Good infrastructure. Excellent sand beach with lots of space at no fee. Huge free parking at the beach. Quiet, far from restaurants or discotheques. Big supermarkets for self-catering visitors. Stores for fresh fish in Nea Iraklitsa. In July the sun goes behind the nearby hill at 8 pm and this brings relief from the sun.

This is a seaside village that is truely Greek in every respect. The local cafes, bakeries and restaurants are excellent. It is a village where the locals obviously go apart from in the high season. It is small enough to walk everywhere. The streets are clean and the water is sparkling clean and great for safe swimming.

Iraklitsa is a lovely resort type little town that has one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Macedonia, Greece. The sea water is crystal clear and shallow for quite a distance from the shore, making it safer and more enjoyable for everyone to swim. Plenty of rental properties, restaurants by the sea, pastry shops, etc. make one’s vacation comfortable and enjoyable. Visitors can also visit, Kavala, the jewel of Eastern Macedonia, in North Greece, which is a large town to the East of Iraklitsa, and visit the archaeological museum and other historical sites; do shopping; eating at various restaurants, and enjoy a long walk by the sea.AAnonymousUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

Very nice place, the beach area is huge! The water is so clean, you can see fish or if you are lucky even an octopus and many other species. The promenade is great with nice places to eat ot just have a coffee.BilyanaBulgaria

Very nice and clean place, with parking space ensured, it has everything a family would need for a happy relaxing vacation. Very kind, responsive and exceptionally hospitable owners. Magnificent garden with BBQ additionally provides a "home comfort" and extra relaxing moments. Definitely we recommend it for a vacation at the sea side. It is three-five minutes by foot from the beach of Nea Iraklitsa and 10 min by car from the magnificent Ammolofoi Beach, which we recommend better.

The location is good, very close to the beach of Iraklitsa, almost next to Lidl, close to the main road. Highly recommend the place, perfect value for money.

As a coffee addicted :) I enjoyed the fact that there was either an espresso coffee maker and a black coffee maker. Perfect for a family with kids. You can cook yourself some food and enjoy having it on the terrace if preferred or just have a dinner nearby as the appartment is in the central part of Nea Iraklitsa. Themis was a very helpful and friendly, always there when needed. Thank you for being our host. :)
