The location couldn't be better -- it was in the middle of the pedestrian centre of Stafford. Also, the staff was great: they made us feel welcome, and were exceedingly helpful when we needed transport.

An excellent hotel in a very convenient place, close to the M6. It is amazing internally, very up-to-date and comfortable. The restaurant is good, a small bar, a wedding was underway whilst I was there but it caused no inconvenience at all, The Moat House is large enough to handle them without swamping the facilities or creating too much noise. I will use them again.
Located just off junction 13 of the M6, the Holiday Inn Express Stafford offers affordable accommodation with Continental breakfast included, free on-site parking and free WiFi throughout.

Small garden in the front and in the back as wel. Plenty of space for us. Dogs welcome. Parking in the front. There were very nice playgrounds near by. There were enough games and toys for the children in the house and huge TV with Netflix.

It is a great location which is not far from any of the activities we had planned (alton towers, hoo zoo and the monkey forest) with great transport links to so many places that you would easily be able to extend the holiday of you wanted to! It was very easy to get around stafford but it does look like the highstreet has taken a huge hit with not much there, sadly this is something I've seen a lot of with covid so we stayed at the new riverside bit when we realised and just to the cinema. The food at the zizii in riverside was excellent and the staff very friendly. If you want a busy and jam-packed highstreet this probably isn't the place for you, but it does have enough and is surrounded by other amazing towns and activities as well as being very beautiful and easy to both drive and walk around.

We live locally & only stayed as it was close to a music festival we attended. Lots of places to visit in surrounding areas though. Pretty villages, walking, canals, historic places to visit too. We didn't visit anywhere else but have done so previously so recommend Shugborough, Stafford Castle, Attingham,

Stafford is underrated as a place to visit.
Stafford is underrated as a place to visit. The town Centre is a gem. St Chad’s Church is steeped in history and the volunteer guides are very good. The Ancient High House is open and houses a museum, which is free to visit.

Main square is under construction at present, there is a market every Tuesday and thursday, its got a few stalls there, loads of lovely tea rooms and places to eat. Timmys is good, loads of choice. Near to Cheshire oaks shopping centre, and trentham oaks shopping village. A few good shops in stafford, and we visited a comedy club night at the local theatre. If your a fan of unique hand made pieces, go to the bottom of the main high street, there's a lovely wee shop selling them. The soup kitchen is a lovely place to eat, from meals to tea and cake.

Never been to Stafford before.
Never been to Stafford before. The Vine Hotel was very quaint. Well worth the money. Had a good night sleep. Room and bathroom needs updating but was perfectly usable. Staff were very professional and friendly. Had a walk through the High Street is a work in progress pavements were being do e as well as I've work. Went to Bictoria Park and had a walk along the river and then the gardens was lovely. There was a market and plenty of shos to go in as well as a miseim. Wished we had more time as there it would have been nice to have seen more. Seems there is a lot to see in Stafford if you have the time. My stay this time was too short.

The room was first class and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner was vey good although it took two and a half hours (6pm - 8.30pm) which I think was down to lack of staff and the hotel being very busy. The breakfast was excellent. We found the car park difficult to find and a little more information would have been helpful.
Our total experience at this B&B was refreshing, comfortable and very welcoming. Our host, Steve, was helpful and friendly. Our suite was very spacious and nicely furnished. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area. We were here on the trail of my ancestors in Staffordshire. It was within a good distance of visiting Stafford and far enough out to enjoy a pleasant country setting. The pubs close by had delicious food. We especially liked the Three Crowns.
Perfect overnight stay after a hard day of retail therapy in town. The staff were amazing throughout from check-in to breakfast the following morning. Awesome food in the restaurant and indulged in a 3 course meal. The young waitress was delightful. Breakfast was very tasty, I had Staffordshire oatcakes. The lady was very bubbly & chatty. Would definitely recommend. Thank you team Doublet 🤍
Lovely character Inn right in the town centre. Rooms had everything you could need. They were warm & very comfortable. Staff were great, friendly, welcoming & professional. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked & tasty. As the 'oldest Inn in Stafford' it obviously has some history... and also some creaky and sloping floorboards! Very funny when you've had a drink!! 🤣🤣
location was spot on as I travelled to Stafford by train. the Stafford apartments were only less than 10 10-minute walk away from the station. had plenty of shops for anything I needed not far from the apartments. the cleanliness of the apartment was second to none, the apartment was always nice and warm when I got back from my day out.
Stayed here for Ironman 70.3 in June 2023. Only had to walk half a mile or less to register for the event (next to Stafford cricket club in 2023). I was allowed to keep my bike on the premises before the event. Good value for money compared to other hotels for the time of year and close to the centre of town as well.
A very convenient centrally based hotel. Comfortable room, beautiful bathroom, and excellent dinner and breakfast. Excellent safe parking. Ideally situated for local visits. I particularly enjoyed reading about the history of the hotel - thank you for the informative booklet.
The staff were really helpful and friendly. My son wasn't very well and the staff went out of their way to help. Excellent value for money and the breakfast was far better than expected. Will definitely be using again next time we are up in Stafford.
We had a lovely trip to stafford.we went to meet family.
The hotel was a perfect location, easy to get to.
The hotel was perfectly clean.
Beds lovely & comfy.
Plenty of choice of breakfast in the morning
Good value for money. Nice hotel, right in the middle of Stafford town, allowing you to walk staright out to the shops etc. Parking was good, but it could be full if the hotel was fully booked.
