We like the beach, Sea Life the castle and its proximity to places such as Flley Bird Garden and RSPB Bempton. Also it is worth a ride on the train near Peasholm.Park. Fantastic seaside location.
Fantastic seaside location. Staying at the North Bay allows escape from the bustle of the South Bay. Wonderful beaches with dog friendly sections. Lifeguards on duty within marked areas of the beach. Some wonderful little shops on the way up into town. Highly recommend using the victorian funicular to town for a wonderful view and experience. YOU MUST VISIT THE HARBOUR BAR, diner style icecream and dessert bar and one of the main reasons I keep travelling for over two hours to visit, quite literally one of the best places for icecream lovers inside or through the streetside hatch.Guest review byPhilippaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A very pleasant town with great seaside views and wonderful fresh air! Visited North Marine Drive cricket ground on 2 days for Yorkshire v Sussex. Hotel was very conveniently located! One evening we had a Chinese meal in a local restaurant, another evening we had take-away fish and chips out of doors, and the other nights we had bar meals at the Clifton Hotel which were good value.Guest review byElspethUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you're from West Yorkshire you already know Scarborough well. If not, I would recommend, it walks that tightrope between loud amusements, brilliant history, and culture really well. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. It was possible to park outside the hotel on the street, even in high season. A ground floor was arranged when I explained my husband had some mobility issues. The bar was appreciated in the evening, with a variety of games (dominoes, cards etc) available.
