We were very happy with the choices at breakfast and quality of the food and attention given by staff Very atmospheric building and attention to detail was obvious and appreciated. Our room was vey comfortable Had one of the best dinners ever in the restaurant Still thinking about the wonderful flavours if the braised brisket Excellent staff which completes the experience We would definately recomend this establishment to other travellers

Welcoming, and efficient when we arrived. Adam went through everything with us, and advised on where to.park etc. The room was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble.

This a beautiful place to stay. it is situated on a farm but has it's own privacy and stunning views. attention to detail is stunning with even a bath big enough for two and yes we put it to the test 😂🤭 We have stayed again since and not for the last time I'm sure.

    Cayton Bay and Peasholme Park are our favourite places to visit. Great nature walk all around and the secret garden. Lookout on the Pier is an amazing place to eat and the fish & chips from the pier. Lots to do for families and solo travellers.

    Lovely traditional English seaside town.

    Lovely traditional English seaside town. Big enough to accommodate lots of tourists, parking OK, with a disc system that gives three hours free - available from hotels and shops, and even from Traffic Wardens. A very happy place with great vibes and great local people.

    Returning for the umpteenth time - used to visit as a child...

    Returning for the umpteenth time - used to visit as a child on holidays and then worked in the Royal Hotel for a period of time. Sadly much of the town is similar to other seaside towns with empty shops or restricted opening days, Overall was full of reminsces.

    Stunning scenery lots of quirky coffee shops The Rotunda and art gallery excellent value for money, £5 per adult but valid for a year.and of course a visit to the Harbour bar ( an ice cream parlour) is a must a beautiful place is Scarborough

    We like the beach, Sea Life the castle and its proximity to places such as Flley Bird Garden and RSPB Bempton. Also it is worth a ride on the train near Peasholm.Park. We struggled to find suitable places to eat within reasonable distance of the beach at North bay though.

    Fantastic seaside location.

    Fantastic seaside location. Staying at the North Bay allows escape from the bustle of the South Bay. Wonderful beaches with dog friendly sections. Lifeguards on duty within marked areas of the beach. Some wonderful little shops on the way up into town. Highly recommend using the victorian funicular to town for a wonderful view and experience. YOU MUST VISIT THE HARBOUR BAR, diner style icecream and dessert bar and one of the main reasons I keep travelling for over two hours to visit, quite literally one of the best places for icecream lovers inside or through the streetside hatch.

    Great location and wonderful views of sea and scarborough bay. Nice area to walk and only 5 min walk to town. Staff were all excellent, friendly and professional they are a credit to the hotel. Fresh breakfast served in a wonderful room. Plenty of on street parking, provided with parking permit free of charge. Would definitely stay again

    We always stay in the grand. Its not the newest cleanest hotel but the outdoor balcony has the best views in Scarborough. You get what you pay for. Its parking is a bit iffy bug location wise its just unbeatable. On a budget go if not stop over roaf but the view from the back is u beautiful

    Excellent Hotel perfect location reception staff are Fantastic it was Easter Sunday the young Lady upgraded us. Yes it's an old Hotel but quirky and it all adds to the charm. I think one of the best Hotels in Scarborough I have stopped in many. This will be our first choice in the future.
