The town had many interesting and historic buildings.
The town had many interesting and historic buildings. We spent time at the St Roche cemetery. The headstones are respectfully cared for with special garden beds adjacent to the plots. The view of the Basilique St-Cordon from our window was stunning with its lights lit up at night. The restaurant Chez Mon Vieux had delicious food.LindsayAustralia

I had to change my first room as it stank of cigarettes. Raphael on reception dealt with it quickly and efficiently. Room was good and quiet and comfortable. Can’t remember the shower room, but, it must have been OK. No complaints. Free bon bon’s! Friendly staff. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. Sausages and bacon! Seating area downstairs.

It was a comfortable stay and I would recommend anyone to stay at this quaint hotel for their visit. I would definitely return. Other people have commented about the noise of the trains, but honestly, that isn't really an issue even though the hotel is directly across from the train station. That guaranteed that I would not miss my train, so that was a plus for me. :)

The location is good I guess, but we did not go for sightseeing. The beds were good, and I think the shower was very good. All together it was a really nice stay, it was easy to park the car near the apartment and the bakeries in France are open early in the morning even on Sundays, so only a few 100m walk for breakfast in the morning.
