Friendly hosts, close to supermarket and garage, just off the motorway and the town is a 15 minutes walk away with choices of restaurants and nice dog friendly one which was ideal for me. Also parking was very good.

This chateau is in a very rural area and wonderfully quiet. The grounds are stunning.
The room was beautifully renovated and I have to mention how comfortable the bed was. Also the duvet and sheets were
of excellent quality, fine-count cotton which showed a close attention to detail and the comfort of guests. I had the best sleep that night that I have had for ages. The bathroom was spacious and contained a bathtub (a luxury you don't often find).
The inclusive breakfast was amazing. A little bowl of strawberries, pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon and good quality tea with cold milk!
The owner was extremely pleasant and welcoming, speaking good English. He helped us with plans for the next day ie a local chateau and brocante shopping opportunities.
We would very much like to return at some point and further explore the area.

Spent one night at Manoir de Livet at the end of our 2 weeks trip to France and was absolutely charmed by the place. Great setting, ambiance, the host Christophe was charming, friendly and helpful, booked us a dinner in a great restaurant in the area. The Manoir is an amazing property just across the moat from an old and beautiful Chateau which we admired during the breakfast, it’s like a fairytale setting. It’s just one bedroom in the property so you have a house all to yourself with a beautiful library upstairs, interior is very creative and tasteful. Loved the stay, would definitely come back but stayed longer this time. Elena and Darran.

Thomas is excellent host! Very friendly, helpfull, hospitable and responded to our messages so quickly. Room is spacious, modern, great equipped and has a view of the meadow with cows and horses. Everything was clean. We could use fridge and all things in his kitchen. Just feel like in home. We had a place for our car. Perfect for overnighting. Thank you Thomas!
