It is an old town with renovated centrum which is a good base to explore the region of Walloon and Northern Picardië (Bernissart, Aubeschies, Bavay, Valenciennes, …). Also aside lays a big forest which includes an old mine terril which offers an excellent viewing point over the area.

This hotel has clean, comfortable rooms, spacious bathroom. Quiet. Great views across the surrounding countryside. lots of other facilities on site to choose from. good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Our room was actually a 2-floor small cabin so we enjoy a private place and a quiet environment. There is a nice hiking route next to the hotel that can be walk with a stroller.
