Did not eat breakfast. Very few alternative food sources (even boulangeries) within easy walking distance Location unsuitable for visit to Lille - too far out with taxis at 30 euros a trip - my error in booking but don't recommend it for a stay if you are travelling via public transport.

Breakfast was good! The hotel staff were polite and the hotel was situated right in the centre of the City, Lille Flanders train station was across the street, which I used daily to travel to Dunkirk and the Somme! I would definitely stay at hotel again.

La Valiz is located opposite Lille’s train station and 2 minutes’ walk from the Euralille shopping centre. Nouveau Siècle Convention Centre is 800 metres away.
