Great for a one night stay when travelling too and from the channel crossings, there is a lot of history in the village which deserves another or longer visit. The Hotel is a bit dated, everything worked including the lovely powerful shower. Found the beds comfortable will use the Hotel again and explore the Fort 100 meter across from the Hotel.

Close enough to the ferry terminal for a quick drive in the morning but far enough away it didn't feel like we were in a roadside motel
