This hotel is an absolute gem. The owner was so friendly and helpful and very welcoming. The location was perfect, right in the centre of town but still felt very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was superb.

The room was fine and much like all Best Western hotel rooms - clean and serviceable, and ideal for a stopover stay. The position was unusual - on one side, it is adjacent to an electricity power station with lots of pylons going out in all directions but luckily barely noticeable once in hotel grounds, and very close to A7 motorway. However to the other side of the hotel was wonderful countryside and numerous walking and cycling tracks! There is also a great restaurant in an attractive restored old barn right next to the main building.
