Hotel was right in the centre ville and above an excellent restaurant. Nicholas who takes care of the hotel was amazing - he rang me a week ahead and made the extra effort to cater to my check in arrival time during the front desk closure hours. He also prepped the breakfast and was reachable via WhatsApp for any queries. Room was clean and comfortable though slightly small.

Great location, with some good facilities for the family ie games area, nice lakeside walk, and plenty of seating on the lake view terrace. The in house restaurant served a varied & tasty a menu and food & drinks reasonably priced. Staff friendly & helpful. Plenty of parking. Bedroom very basic, like a dormitory, no frills, but clean & bed comfy.

The location to the centre of the village is excellent. The facilities were good, lounge, dining area and two very comfortable bedrooms. Nice bathroom with a large shower and bonus 2nd toilet in the utility room.

This was a really exceptional experience. The restaurant is unpretentious, inexpensive, but outstanding. Everything prepared by the chef (a specialist in sauces) in the kitchen. The best steak I have had in years. A good list of local wines, and well chosen vin ordinaire by the carafe. Fondant des noisettes from the local trees, and crème anglaise made by the chef from vanilla pods - the antidote to custard powder. Ask for a glass of the local liqueur de noisette to pour over the fondant. This is a restaurant like they used to be in the Dordogne half a century ago, but have all but disappeared. Put this wonderful little restaurant with its few, but excellent, hotel rooms, on your itinerary!
