The hosts at this hotel are very welcoming and friendly. It's in a really good location close to the charming old town of Dijon. There's a few local bars very close too. They're great for people watching and soaking up the atmosphere of those that live in the area. The rooms in the hotel are small but perfecly adequate - and offer great value for money. The hosts at breakfast did a great job of taking care with my wife's nut allergy - even going to the shop to buy some bread when they weren't sure of the ingredients of what was provided on the table! Very kind and thoughtful.
Dijon was a real surprise to us - such a beautiful old town with exceptionally well preserved buildings around every corner, which stop you in your tracks. The proximity of the cathedral to the surrounding medieval buildings is surreal! There's a lovely evening atmosphere as everyone appeared to be outside enjoying a meal or drink - no matter what day of the week! And the best thing was that the hotel was never far away when we'd spent hours following the owl trail!
The hotel is located near the motorways A6, A38, A31 and A39 and only 10 minutes' drive from the centre of Dijon. The exhibition and congress centre is 3.5 km away.
