The location is super quiet and calm in the Dordogne countryside but less than 5 minutes drive to a well-stocked supermarket, boulangetie etc. Lovely for country walks and close to river for canoeing. The swimming pool was not something we were looking for, but after arriving during the unexpected heatwave of mid-June, it was fantastic to cool off from the 35° afternoon heat! Alain is very helpful, but relaxed and unobtrusive.

Lovely hotel run by a delightful couple, Michelle and Ann-e. They could not do enough for us and made our stay very special. The hotel has a echo of the Far East as the owners have constructed a Chinese garden which is wonderful to wander around.

We spent a wonderful weekend in the hotel, this was our second time and we'll surely come back again. The rooms are cozy and the owners are kind and welcoming, they go out of their way for the clients. The raspberry tart for breakfast is something to die for.
