Typically French - and utterly charming. Set in the heart of the champagne region, this beautiful home stay was once available to nuns who established a school, daycare and dispensary there. The host was clearly very proud of the dwelling, and keen to expectation its history to us.
We were able to park in the inner courtyard. And everything in the town was within walking distance.
The ‘History Of Champagne’ tour & tasting was incredibly interesting and well worth a visit.

Wonderfully located apartment in Ay, walking distance to local restaurants and amenities, easy drive to champagne houses in Epernay. The apartment was well set up with a mini kitchen and seating areas. Communication with our host was good and timely, but we never met. On street parking outside or nearby, depending on the amount of traffic parking.

I've been traveling for 4 months and have booked many apartments during this time. I would say that Ay Central is absolutely one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. The location, the quietness of the apartment, the comfort level, the wifi speed, the kitchen facilities and staples, the overall feel of the apartment and the incredibility helpful host Cedric made our stay a very special one. I wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed in the wonderful master bedroom “Maitre” - very comfortable kingsize bed and huge walk-in shower. Enjoyed a complimentary glass of the Chateau champagne on arrival on the terrace and learnt lots by taking part in a tasting. Lovely friendly staff and an excellent breakfast around the large table in the communal dining room. Very well located for Epernay - an easy taxi ride away for an evening meal.

Cedric provided much appreciated and many staples including a welcoming bottle of champagne.. Doesn’t get much better than this. The apartment was nicely furnished, cozy and bed comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat. One of the best accommodations of our trip. It was also great to have a washing machine. He even had e-bikes for us to rent. Kudos to our hosts.

Located in the town of Ay, it is very convenient and close to the main towns and cities in the area but without the traffic and the buzz. The apartment is very comfortable and homey. It is spacious and the decor and amenities are new, stylish and in mint conditions. Aurelien is the perfect host. He was attentive, kind, responsive and extremely helpful.
