Our triple room is large. Two big comfy beds. Great view to the river. With balcony. Enough electricity outlet for charging devices. Good lighting. Good air ventilation.
Bathroom has windows for airing. Has enough natural light. Towels were very clean.
Location is super. Next to the river with the view to the bridge. Quiet. Easy to park (outdoors only).
Restaurant meals are value for money. Serving sizes were large. No one could leave hungry ;-)
Staff are professional and helpful.

The hotel is an exceptional example of an early 20th century railway-adjacent grand hotel which has maintained many original art nouveau period features. It is still run by descendants of the original owners, and the staff are clearly proud of the hotel and are very obliging and welcoming. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the grand dining room. Our large, sunny room was also of the period, renovated to provide modern conveniences. We were able to park for free on street, outside our bedroom window.

Angeliques was an exceptional host despite having 3 children to manage. She opened the place on our arrival as there were no other guests due to arrive before us. She served in the bar, in the restaurant and took our breakfast orders. Dinner was superb and a very good breakfast.
