We had two rooms facing the hotel interior courtyard, street level. These were dream rooms for persons arriving on the island. The rooms were quiet, clean and simple: nothing too much, but everything essential. Practicality in Åland manner as it's best. Breakfast was good. We fell asleep to the "spring concert" of sea gulls.
Located next to the Pommern Museum Ship in Mariehamn, this hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna and a garden terrace. A well-equipped gym is available for guests free of charge.

A simple hotel close to the harbor. The location is convenient, the staff is nice, the breakfast is ordinary but everything is available.
Nearby pub, with normal prices for food and drinks.

Historical sights on the island - almost everything on the island is no more than 30 mins. drive from Mariehamn. The island has a sense of uniqueness and it's very silent and peaceful. Åland is a dream destination for anyone interested in maritime matters. It was pity that all the ancient middle age churches and the Mariehamn church were closed during the day time although many school classes and cruise passengers were in town and on the island. However, these sights are probably easier to visit during the proper summer. Remember to eat the Åland pancakes, available for instance in the oldest wooden house of Åland in Mariehamn.

It is a charming city with kind people.
It is a charming city with kind people.
We visited Maxinge shopping center and ate one of the best pizzas in a long time in a Diablo pizzeria, which felt authentically Italian (from one that grew up on Italian) in so many ways. A trip would have been worth it just for it.
Many lovely places for charming walks around the city and area.

Aland is a great place full of nature.
Aland is a great place full of nature. Mariehamn is nice, but I mostly enjoyed the nature. My favourite place in Mariehamn was the vista point from Badhusparken. Further, I visited Saltvik, Kastelholm and Eckerö, all reachable by bus from Mariehamn.

There are not too many tourists in Mariehamn.
There are not too many tourists in Mariehamn. In many places, menus and other brochures are only in Swedish, and for tourists it would be good to have the information in English as well.
There are many good swimming spots.

The nautical museum and ship Pommern are well worth a visit.
The nautical museum and ship Pommern are well worth a visit. The cultural museum is also interesting. Lots of attractive wooden houses and enjoyed walking in the parks and along the seaside. 1 1/2 days was perfect. Excellent meals at Indigo and Park restaurants where I had local perch and local lamb.

I visited during weekend.
I visited during weekend. It was surprising that all the shops cafes etc closed on saturday at 4pm and didn't open at all on sunday. So it was really quiet and there were literally no one in the city center. And basically not much to do.
This the third time we have stayed at Stava Mosters
Amira the owner is excellent meeting us at a time convenient to us to show us around the apartment and always making sure we have everything we need
.
The property is always clean and very well equipped. For the same price as a hotel room you can have lots of space and you can cook for yourself which on Aland will save you a fortune
For us there is only one place to stay on Aland and that Stava Mosters
Didn’t eat breakfast because we made it in the kitchen in our cabin. Superior location just outside the centre of Mariehamn. Friendly hosts and welcoming surroundings. Breakfast looked very good for a reasonable fee! Don’t think there is much to change. I’ve been here on 6th grade field trip and after 14 years I came back for a golf-trip with friends and all of us loved the stay. Thank you.
The room was big enough and comfortable, the buffet breakfast was good and and it was possible to choose among a variety of sweet or salty foods, the reception is 24h open and there is a free parking if you have a car.
The hotel is excactly in front of the Maritime musem and is just ten minutes away (walking) from the city center; the ferry terminal is 2 minutes away by car.
The location is in the residential district but just 10 mins walk will arrive to the main street or ferry place.
Tuija is super thoughtful host with huge hospitality to help with every little problem.
Stay here is very homy and cozy! It's not luxury but the way Tuija treat guests makes the feeling much better then stay in those regular hotels.
Lobby and bar area very nice and modern. Very clean and fresh hotel. Rooms well soundproofed so could not hear anythibg from neighbours.
I got an early checkin free of charge, and a evening checkout for a reasonable price.
If you want a more fancy stay, Pommern would ve the right choice.
The food was okay. Everything else was below any reasonable standard. The building stinks and is badly hurt with moisture problems. I cannot understand how the Aland tourist authority and building controllers do not blow the whistle and demand the stop of this accommodation establishment.
Location - in residential area of Mariehamn (please note it is ca. 20 mins walking to the centre and not 5-6 mins as the description says!). It is very quiet here.
The kitchen was very well equipped and we liked cooking there.
Availability of dishwasher and washing machine.
The hotel is located at the best possible place for a hotel in Mariehamn. The breakfast was excellent, I already miss it! I was happy that also vegan options and local specialities were available. We enjoyed the two swimming pools and the sauna. The rooms were nice.
We stayed at the Park Alandia for two nights over New Year's and loved the property. From the breakfast to the sauna facilities the hotel is a great value and offers a relatively modern interior right in the center of Mariehamn.
Location and price is ok for the Hotel, so it gives value for the money. Beds were comfy and the hotel and area quiet, so we got a good sleep. Very friendly staff and the communication before and during the stay was nice.
The apartment was all new and very well thought out. There were very nice big screen tvs which were great. It was close to the city center and there was an option to eat breakfast in the hotel part.
The location and the room were good.
The breakfast was quite basic but the quality was acceptable.
There is sauna and pool in the hotel which is very nice.
Worth staying at.
Breakfast was buffet style with lots of options. I am a vegetarian and had no problem finding something yummy to eat. We sat out on the deck in the fresh Aland air!
