This is very much an up-market hotel dealing with business customers and the posh end of the tourism trade. As such it has all the features you expect for a 4* hotel. Important for me was a 24-hour check-in desk, since I was arriving on a late flight into El Prat airport. The hotel not really at the airport itself but about 3km inland, in an area of light industrial units and offices past a giant Amazon fulfilment centre. There is a 24-hr free shuttle bus service but I preferred to walk and it took about 40 mins (use google maps to find a walking route). To get into the city, the nearest metro station is Mas Blau on the L9S line, about 12-15 minutes on foot from the hotel, back towards the airport (again, use google maps).

Situated in El Prat de Llobregat, 10 km from Magic Fountain of Montjuic, Hotel Barcelona Aeropuerto, affiliated by Meliá features accommodation with a private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Location right at the airport, a few minutes walk from the terminal. Breakfast room was comfortable, food choices good and lovely staff member kept everything stocked and clean. If you have mobility issues, please be aware there is a step up into the shower area, but nothing to hold on to to steady yourself.

This is an inexpensive but good basic hotel in the quiet, mostly residential neighborhood of El Prat in Barcelona, maybe some 10 km south-west of the city centre, and about 3.5 km north of Barcelona's main airport of the same name (BCN). One can hike between the hotel and the airport terminals in about 45 min (use google maps to figure the actual route). The nearest metro station is Cèntric, on the L9S line, about 10 min on foot from the hotel. There is free W-LAN. There isn't a 24-hour check-in desk but if one needs to get away early one can check-out the night before and use the back entrance (they provide a keypad combination).

Easy to get to from the airport. The room inside an apartment was ok. simple accommodation but clean and fine for one night to get back to airport in the morning. Instructions for access to keys was clear and easy to follow. In an area close to shops, cafes etc in walking distance. Internet worked fine. I had to share a bathroom with another booked room in apartment which wasn’t a problem until I desperately needed the loo and had to wait until someone finished their shower.

Just 3 km from Barcelona’s El Prat Airport, guests at Centre Esplai Albergue can reach the city centre in 40 minutes by bus and Metro.

We chose this hotel to be close to the airport. Bus stop and metro station in three minutes walk, the area is quite good and lovely. The worker was really nice, showed us everything, and gave us iron when we asked.
