Comfort of the bed, elegantly decorated and plenty of hot water. The location central, on nice street, so was perfect for us. The staff were excellent.

Great value for money. Good location. Clean rooms.
The City of Smiles, Århus (or Aarhus as it’s now officially known) has been around longer than any other Scandinavian city, so has had plenty of time to accumulate attractions and eateries. Its vibrant music scene and nightlife are popular with Denmark’s largest student population, and the University Park features the excellent Steno Museum and Natural History Museum.
Weird and wonderful artworks adorn the multi-coloured ARoS museum, and artefacts in the Viking Museum are on the site where they were discovered, alongside copies of exhibits from the Moesgård Museum, located in a forest south of the city centre (closed until 2014). At the heart of the neighbouring park is Marselisborg Palace, the Danish monarch’s summer residence.
The botanical gardens are opposite the Old Town, which is not actually the historic centre but rather a colourful collection of half-timbered buildings from all over Denmark, set around a pond.
Shops and pavement cafes line the Aarhus River which enters the sea by the large port which has contributed significantly to the city’s success. Overlooking it are the ultra-modern Isbjerget apartments, resembling peaks of icebergs. Also innovatively designed is the Modernist town hall, and Aarhus Cathedral has the country’s tallest spire and longest nave.

Lovely city, great size and lots to do for a 4-5 night stay.
Lovely city, great size and lots to do for a 4-5 night stay. We went to a skateboard event, followed by a wander around town and found a great sushi place for dinner with reasonably priced options. Second day we wandered down the pedestrianised shopping street and Salling Rooftop to see the stunning views. Then wandered on to the Latin quarters and stumbled upon a lovely, low-key street market with great vendors and live music. People sitting on door steps and drinking coffees or beers or enjoying an ice cream. Felt inspired and had an ice cream and later discovered amazing Danish hot dogs! Wandered back to hotel to drop off shopping bags and then went to the charming fun fair, Tivoli Friheden. Had fun there, caught a show - realised there was a concert on that evening at the park which explained the up-beat mood. Had a delicious dinner. As we left we took a detour down to the scenic harbour where we enjoyed another soft-ice type ice cream and wandered about yacht-spotting and enjoying the sea-views.
Too short a stay - had an airplane to catch. Must visit again!

Not as much to do in Aarhus proper, but if you had the means to travel outside there was more to see. Not as visitor friendly as other Danish cities we visited. One full day was enough for the city proper to meander around. Be careful of where you eat, because some of the smorrebord menus were simply fried fish (from their fish and chips menu) on a large piece of bread or soggy chicken salad. Not the Danish versions you might be looking for.

Confusing town plan. Lost my sense of direction frequently.
Confusing town plan. Lost my sense of direction frequently.
Great range reasonable eating places. Friendly service. Flexible menus.
The art gallery was a bit strange. Not much of a B collection for an experienced art lover in other European cities. The shop there was well stocked and presented

I would choose to cone back to Aarhus abd already recommended for my Polish /English and Slovakian friends.Grat city with fab beaches and train connections...bicycle renting friendly for eco system ...welcome the food and beer as well as fantastic shoping opportunity great hospitality ...friendly kind people and so much more ....definitely amazing town and so fast track by plane Gdansk Airport to Aarhus Airport best ever check in experience ....my favoured destination with so good check in staff ....
Family friendly town with so much bicycle ....technical innovations ....
Location is the best, in the town centre. Everything else, not so much. Rooms are tiny. Microscopic. Bathroom has almost 2 square meters. Don't bring your suitcases, there is no space to put them.
And parking in Aarhus is almost impossible (or very expensive); hotel takes reservations for their garage at 7am on the day (so you better call in the morning if you wish to compete for one of the spaces, or figure out another way to park). Breakfast is not included in the price so expect to pay much more if you want to eat in the morning.
This hotel is very comfortable and close to AROS and other places to visit in central Aarhus. It is a short walk into the city centre. It had great beds and for once - good pillows - the best of our trip, and there is all you need such as small fridge, microwave, dishwasher etc. Good bathroom and shower. There is off street secure parking to keep the car safe if you book ahead. The staff were just lovely. It was a really pleasant experience to stay here, and I would definitely come again.
The location is excellent, near to the train station and within short walks of all the really interesting bits Aarhus has on offer. The staff are first rate as are the rooms. I particularly like all the old bits in the window hardware - hooks, latches and catches. They’re all “old style” European and invoke a different age of travel and adventure. First rate!
Location - superb: Close to train station, close to harbour, close to sea-side walk, just opposite to DOKK1, and very very close to city center and restaurants and cafes. Also close to bus station, if anyone is taking long distance buses like Flixbus to Aarhus. There is also a tram and bus stop right in front of the hotel (stop name: Dokk1)
Comfortable room with a lovely view. Decent breakfast, even for a vegan. We brought bikes and the city of Aarhus was an easy 10 minute ride away on a flat bike path. We swam every day in front of the hotel from the sandy beach with a view of the city. The staff were very helpful and of course spoke excellent English.
Compact, but fully equipped, clean and modern appartement with everything needed for a solo traveller. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Aarhus. Especially if you have a car, as there is easy and free parking! Oh and the host was very helpful and responsive.
Hotel Oasia Aarhus City exceeded my expectations. The rooms are modern and clean, with comfy beds. The staff is friendly and attentive. Perfect location, close to major attractions. The breakfast spread is delicious. Highly recommend for a pleasant stay in Aarhus!
Milling Hotel Ritz is just next to the Central Station - Aarhus H - and next to many of the important "sites" in Aarhus. It´s my second visit to the hotel after a lecture in Aarhus - nice place to sleep and enjoy the good breakfast before going back to Copenhagen.
Front dest staff was so professional in their work and polite in person. we would like to thank them again. The hotel location was excellent. We felt like we stayed in the heart of Aarhus festival. Aarhus and every facility in the hotel made us feel like home.
This hotel is right in the center of Aarhus, conveniently located from the train station, restaurants, and shops. The room felt open and bright and the design of the bathroom was more spacious than some other Scandic hotels where I've stayed.
The hotel is very nice, it is a boutique hotel. A very special place. The location is great and they have a parking place.
The room was tiny but comfortable for a couple. It is a nice place for minimalistic people.
Lovely hotel in downtown Aarhus. The receptionist named Sofus was great! He was super friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay at the radisson red and will definitely be back again.
A few mins walk away from Street Food + Bus central and Aarhus Central. Very city centered. Breakfast was excellent. The room has AC. Clean bathroom and facilities. Friendliest staffs.
