The place has a great location. Very helpful staff and nice restaurant..Room was nice and cosy. They let us to leave the bikes in the garage. We enjoyed the small children playground.

The location is excellent, in a pretty town along a gorgeous part of the river. It is right by the train station, which was very welcome! It is a beautiful old building - the oldest guesthouse in town. Everything was nice and clean and smelled great. The breakfast was good, although not great.

We had a wonderful stay. Large rooms and comfortable beds, everything was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious and with more options than one can have. The location of the hotel was excellent for walking all around Sankt Goar, with many restaurants nearby. To top it all off, the host was extremely helpful. He did much more than was expected when we had a problem with our car, by promptly bringing his car to jump start ours, for which we are very grateful.

Fabulous place to stay. Gil goes out of his way to make you feel very welcome. Our stay was during the flooding in early June. Gil contacted us to give us instructions on how to get into the hotel and was always easy to contact if we needed help or advice. The breakfast is a treat with lots of options for all diets. If Gil recommends a restaurant for dinner, go there, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend staying here.
