Emanuel thank you for your kind hospitality, the room was clean and quiet
breakfast was the best and it was so pleseant that we stayed for dinner, for a rather relative small amount extra you get a huge dinner which was very good and couldnt even finish up our plates.
Emanuel was so helpful with directing me to outdoor clothing shops and attractions.

Of course the lake opposite the hotel is beautiful and a wonderful place to walk around or just sit and enjoy. The breakfast as well as the other food in the location was exceptional. The hotel itself is very modern and has a stylish interior. There is everything you need in your room. The staff was exceptionally friendly, in the hotel Köhlerei am See as well as in the partner hotel.

Feldberg is a beautiful town and when there is snow, it most definately would be a nice ski-resort. However, we forgot to order the snow 😉. Better luck next time 😊 However Titisee and Schluchsee a nearby if you want to make an excursion. Even so, we enjoyed our stay in Feldberg.

The hotel was in great location but the other parameters were bad - the service was bad ' the staff were not nice and not ready to help , the breakfast was very poor - we were exttremely dissapointed of this hotel as it had great recommendations which turned our not to be true !!!
Feldberg as a town was not an interesting place and there was nothing there to see or do - maybe for children but not for couples !!!

We hiked there in July- views were tremendous on all sides, and enjoyed the cable car ride up the mountain. There were some easy walking routes and cemented paths making it easy for children or those without good hiking shoes. And there were also paths which were rocky and steeper for the more able hikers.

A beautiful city to explore in.
A beautiful city to explore in. The highlands of the black forest is nature at its best. We are not professional hikers and didn't have the right shoes but nevertheless we walked and saw a lot of places on foot. Starting from the House of Nature, we rode the cable car to the Bismarck monument and onward to the summit. What a spectacular view from there of the alps and the black forest. Then we ventured the tracks going down to the Feldsee,a serene place. As we just stayed a night there, we only had the chance to see these places. We shall be back and stay longer next time.
Everything was super nice and we would love to spend a longer time here. Lovely hotel, large comfy bed, extremely kind and accommodating staff, great breakfast with a variety of sweet and savoury options, sauna and solarium available on request. Pickup from train station was arranged at short notice, which we greatly appreciated as our trip was very spontaneous. We enjoyed our delicious and hearty dinner at the restaurant. Through our stay we also received a free Hochschwarzwald Card with discounts and offers for local sightseeing.
This place is AMAZING
I traveled with my husband and our 2 kids. This place had everything we needed. A beautiful apartment with a green forest view to the backyard. The backyard had some games for the kids and a small trampoline which kept them busy when we enjoyed the hotel breakfast. The host was super nice and very helpful with tips. Even did our laundry because the one in our apartment building was broken.
Very nice location in the edge of the village, great view over the mountain with a deep-green forest. Nice, big and comfy apartment with balcony. Fully equipped kitchen. Good sauna, a bit small thou to accommodate all people. Easy checking at the hotel nearby. Good connection to the road and public transit (train station is 15 min walk, with hourly train to Freiburg).
Great location right on the ski slope. We took a room with a balcony, the room was spacious and very comfortable with a view onto the slope which provided ample entertainment watching the thrills and spills! Staff very polite and generally good English which was much appreciated with my very basic Deutsch. Overall a great base for skiing in Feldberg.
Great communication with super friendly host, great location with nice sauna and pool (cost 90 Euro for 2-3 days because water/heat is renewed).
Super close to Feldberg, ski lifts, etc. - we had a tremendous stay! We also made a very nice walk directly from the house.
My stay at hotel Diana was very relaxing. Staff was very helpful whenever I needed anything. They have amazing facilities like a swimming pool and beautiful terrace with a cafe. Food was great! Looking forward to come again in the winter for skiing :)
The food at the hotel was very good, both breakfast and dinner. Just be advised it’s a set menu at dinner but they did have a vegetarian option and kids could opt for schnitzel, pasta, or nuggets if the main course wasn’t something they would eat.
