Location in the forest was amazing. Beautiful hikes through the rainforest just there. Nice wildlife. Quiet. Friendly staff. There's a pool and guest lounge if needed. Unit is spacious and has a full kitchen. Visit Lake Eacham, Lake Barrine and Peterson Creek to spot platypuses (go along the creek, do not go to the platypus viewing platform it's really hard to spot platypuses from there). DO not believe what they say about going at dawn/dusk and being very quiet. We learnt at the Australian Platypus Park that any time of day is fine, and you should keep talking to reassure the platypuses that you are not a predator.

We only met one staff member, but she was super nice. We stayed in one of the GoRooms. There's not room for much, other than the bed, but that's fine – at least for a night or two.

We had a very relaxing stay in this great cottage and could even have just spend time sitting on the rear deck. Quiet location, but within a 3-5min walk to local shops and restaurants. The cottage is rather spacious and has everything available you may need for your stay. Highly recommended!
