From our arrival we were greeted by George, the manager, with fresh passion fruit juice and every day we enjoyed absolutely delicious local dishes and beverages, all ingredients locally sourced. The activities and excursions were incredible and Ciro, our guide so knowledgeable. We got to explore both the river and the surrounding forrest, both of which we could also see from our tranquil balcony. We learned to weave hats and baskets with palm leaves from Allen and lounged in the pool and on the deck. By our departure the staff had begun to feel like family and if we are so lucky, we will definitely return someday.

Emanuel & his family gave us the warmest welcome to their home. The place was amazing and the wooden houses inside the jungle by the River so clean & comfort with view that we felt so relaxed 😎 after so many (amazing) days trekking & climbing Andes mountains. Every morning Emanuel offered us tasteful breakfasts with so many flavours & unforgettable exotic fruit juices!!! Moreover they cooked for us dinners with so fresh fishes, vegetables & fruits! Delicious! The helped us & organised us daily tours to the jungle & the river to see and feel the wild life & nature! Last but not least they were so kind that transferred us to & from airport & to the village to have a drink and dinner. The nearest airport is Puerto Maldonado International, 5 km from Casa Amazonas, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The staff opened the resort just for me! It was unbelievable. I only had one day there and they planned everything around what was available in my time at the resort. I used their airport transfer and it was about 20 minutes away. I had a chance to shower and then lunch was ready. I explored the property and checked out the yoga area and did some meditation on my own, then my first activity was ink painting with an indigenous artist. I did not brush up on any of my spanish so I ended up using Google Translate but the information was so interesting and the artist and I worked on a piece together, then she painted my face with the same design. It was such a great experience. Dinner was served a few hours later and then I just hung out with the property gatos and just took in the beauty of being in the Amazon. The next morning I had a flower bath and it was so rejuvenating and lovely. Definitely one of the top 3 activities my whole time in Peru! Just outstanding. I would return in a heartbeat!

The accommodation is superb when you consider where it is in a jungle setting. A quality experience. The staff are superb and the facilities well maintained in a very hot, wet and humid setting. Its the little things like gum boots and well placed umbrellas that make for a well thoughtout experience. Then you add on the wildlife which is everywhere!!

The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from Padre Aldamiz International Airport. Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is accessed via a 10-minute ride from the airport then a 25-minute boat ride from Puerto Maldonado port. Very nice accomodation, very good Food. I liked that everything was organized and you could just follow the trips that were planned. Very nice staff

Wasai Tambopata Lodge is located in the middle of the Amazon, surrounded by 20 km of protected forest area. Guests are welcome to explore the premises and enjoy the breathtaking views. Wasai Lodge completely exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff were so kind and friendly, the rooms were fabulous right on the river with very comfortable beds. Food was amazing with a huge amount of variety. Our guide, Efrain, was so knowledgeable, engaging, funny and made our trip even more fantastic - he was born to be an Amazon tour guide!! Clem who runs the lodge was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was always on hand to answer questions. We felt very safe during our stay. This is an amazing lodge and would highly recommend it!
