The food was great, very friendly staff that waited for our arrival in the evening as the trip through the mountains did take longer. Clean rooms with all amenities needed. Be sure you have a good all wheel car if you drive up on your own.

Perfect for a getaway from every day life. But yet, it's still close to major attractions in the area, making it a great place to stay while you explore Jabal Akhdar, Jabal Shams, Misfat, Jebreen, Nizwa or Bahla. The owner is very thoughtful in how he put the place together, thinking of every detail you may need during your stay. The place is very comfortable, and the outdoor space ia beautiful. We highly recommend staying here, whether for just one night, or longer.

Amazing place nested in the middle of the old town. Has private garage, 2 nice rooms, one with a king size bed, one with king size and single bed, so 5 people can sleep comfortably. There are 2 bathrooms with shower and a small but marvelous swimming pool, heaven after 4 long hours of drive to Nizwa. Host was super nice, there were kahwa & dates awaiting for us, in the middle of the kitchenette. The place is next to a beautiful mosque, built around 1200.

There were no bad smells at all. The backyard and the pool are very nice, and you have a lot of privacy. The owner was also very kind and responsive. I would definitely come back again and stay a few days to enjoy what the property has to offer!
