Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Loved the ostriches, game drives, rhinos, variety of wildlife. Staff was exceptional and very helpful. Especially Beau and Nakushe.

Immanuel Wilderness Lodge is located 20 km north of Windhoek. Surrounded by African savannah in a growing suburb of the capital, the lodge offers a garden, outdoor pool and restaurant.

The Afro-chic rooms at Immanuel Wilderness Lodge are fitted with a private bathroom and tea-and-coffee making facilities. The beds are draped with a mosquito net. Linen and towels are provided. We stayed at the Immanuel Wilderness Lodge for 2 nights at the beginning of our trip and also 2 nights at the end. It was perfect for us! Despite the odd location- (there are some build works you have to pass on arriving at the lodge), once you are inside the gates and in the main lodge, the decor and soft lighting embrace you. Stefan's cooking is exceptional. He catered for my daughter's vegetarian needs perfectly. We felt as though we were at home. I would very much recommend this lodge for those who wish to recover from a long flight on arrival, or after a long drive before departure. We loved hanging around the pool. Stefan and Sabina are amazing hosts and their team- Leana, Linda and Maggie are super friendly too. We'll be back one day! Thank you to everyone for looking after us!!

Reiterdenkmal Windhoek is 10 km from the lodge, while Curt von Francois Statue is 10 km away. The nearest airport is Eros, 14 km from River Crossing Lodge, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Everything about River Crossing Lodge was perfect. The clean, well designed chalets are staggered so each balcony is totally private and the view of the mountains is stunning, especially at sunrise. The food at River Crossing is delicious and every member of staff was kind, professional and friendly. River Crossing is far enough away from Windhoek to feel as if you are in a world of your own. We definitely plan to stay at River Crossing Lodge when we fly back home.

Auas Safari Lodge is situated 45 km outside of Windhoek. Guests can explore the wildlife surrounding them on daily game drives, guided hiking trails and bird watching expeditions.

Each room features a private terrace and is equipped with tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The private bathroom has a shower. The place was stunning. A little Oasis in the desert. Staff was super friendly and attentive. My room was comfortable with a super large and comfy bed. I slept like a dream with no noise, just nature at my door. The food was excellent, although I was not that into the game meaty dishes served. Just my personal preference. The game drive was so informative, but I wish I could have been on more than one occasion. The shuttle service was well appreciated. Thanks to Petrus and all staff for making my stay memorable and enjoyable. Ps....I am going to miss my Virgin Mogito's. Till next time as I will be back.
