From the seamless pick-up and drop-off from Sandakan to the incredible activities arranged by the lodge, every detail was perfect. The lodge itself was well-equipped and comfortable, and we were thrilled to find reliable WiFi in the common area. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the river cruises, expertly guided by Linda and her team. Their knowledge and dedication were evident, and they went above and beyond to ensure we saw the best wildlife the region has to offer, including the elusive Big 5. Linda's passion and expertise truly enhanced our experience, making each cruise an adventure to remember. A special mention goes to the food – the best Malaysian home-cooked meals we’ve ever had! The lodge graciously accommodated our vegetarian request, and every meal was a delightful culinary experience. This stay comes highly recommended for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Borneo's jungle while enjoying excellent hospitality and thrilling wildlife adventures. The Last Frontier Boutique Resort terletak di atas bukit berketinggian 100 meter yang menghadap ke Hutan Simpan Kinabatangan di Bilit. Penginapan ini berjarak 2 jam pemanduan dari Sandakan yang indah.... Lodging, meals, guiding... all was superb (including the sightings of pygmy elephants and orangutans). The people at the Last Frontier Resort are very passionate about their jobs and they excel at it. Rodel was a great guide and Jason went out of his way to make sure our onward journey by bus would work smoothly. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Would be 11 out of 10 (if that was a possibility). So if you get the chance - book it :)

Comfortable dining room with complete kitchen facilities. Comfortable and very clean room complete with iron, hair dryer,kettle. Stunning and wonderful view of Mount Kinabalu. Definitely will stay again. The owner/host very nice and helpful.

Tetamu boleh berehat di taman di tempat penginapan ini. everything, best healing place with affordable price for family trip,will come back again. just a caution on the road, a bit steep, if you are using auto car, then use low gear, if using manual, make sure your brake and tyre in good condition for more grip, please be more careful especially during rain, since road may get slippery. recommended place to stay
