From the seamless pick-up and drop-off from Sandakan to the incredible activities arranged by the lodge, every detail was perfect. The lodge itself was well-equipped and comfortable, and we were thrilled to find reliable WiFi in the common area. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the river cruises, expertly guided by Linda and her team. Their knowledge and dedication were evident, and they went above and beyond to ensure we saw the best wildlife the region has to offer, including the elusive Big 5. Linda's passion and expertise truly enhanced our experience, making each cruise an adventure to remember. A special mention goes to the food – the best Malaysian home-cooked meals we’ve ever had! The lodge graciously accommodated our vegetarian request, and every meal was a delightful culinary experience. This stay comes highly recommended for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Borneo's jungle while enjoying excellent hospitality and thrilling wildlife adventures. Die Greenhouse Lodge liegt auf der Insel Mantanani und bietet umweltfreundliche Unterkünfte mit Zugang zu einem Garten. Einfach ALLES ist bei einem Aufenthalt in der EcoLodge perfekt! Wir hatten unglaubliches Glück weil wir die 3 Nächte mit den Besitzern Fred und seiner Frau Sook Peng alleine in der Lodge waren und den Strand und die süße Anlage ganz für uns hatten. Dreimal täglich wurden wir von Sook Peng bekocht - sie ist eine außergewöhnlich fantastische Köchin. Die Zimmer sind sehr süß und mit Stil eingerichtet, das Bad ist sehr hell und ebenfalls wunderschön. Es gibt wirklich nichts das wir bemängeln könnten!

Das The Last Frontier Boutique Resort begrüßt Sie auf einem 100 m langen Hügel mit Blick auf das Naturschutzgebiet Kinabatangan. one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

The lodge is amazing and it is location is readily and easily found within the Waze App. Signs to go to the place are easily seen so you wont get lost. Although the small stretch of roads heading to the lodge was rocky and bumpy, it was still a great experience! Location was beautiful and the view is just immaculate. Wonderful and helpful staff! Do prepare some mosquito patches for yourself if you need it. If not, you are good to go! And the parking space is limited, so plan ahead when you are renting a car to drive to this place!

Man konnte sich in der Unterkunft sehr gut aufhalten, sie war gemütlich und hatte eine schöne Terrasse mit einem fantastischen Blick auf den Mount Kinabalu direkt gegenüber.

Slept like a log during our stay here. The lodges equiped with air conditioning, hot heater, basic amenities..they even have all day coffee tea.
