Located 6.6 km from Tissa Wewa, Ranakeliya Lodge - Yala provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. Very nice and equipped tents! One of the best showers in Sri Lanka. We felt like close to the nature. The beds were very comfortable. The food was super delicious and the Safari that we booked with them was very nice. We asked them to leave 30minutes earlier and they managed to do so. Our Safari guide Oshan was very nice and put a lot of effort into our experience and showed a lot of different animals.

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. This property was in a beautiful setting! You feel very close to nature, with lots of trees, plants, birds. It is right on a lake. The owner, Anne, the manager, Amal, and each and every staff member were incredibly kind and professional. Our every need was met. We had full board, and the food exceeded our expectations! We were so full! There were lots of choices, but we had Sri Lankan food, it was just delicious! We had Tranquil book us two safaris, and we loved them! We didn’t see leopards, but another group did the same day we went out. We saw plenty of wildlife. A bonus was the fresh, clean pool for a morning or afternoon swim, with chairs to relax in the sun or shade. Thank you, Tranquil, for your hospitality. We’ll be back! We recommend this place and the park nearby, over the busier places.

The air-conditioned accommodation will provide you with work desk and seating area. the lodge is beautiful and very peaceful the room are in individual house are very charming the service and the food is excellent The swimming pool is amazing there is a beautiful nature all around the lodge

Yala Village Eco Tree House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Tissamaharama, 10 km from Tissa Wewa. We had an amazing stay with the heartwarming family that is taking care of the eco village. We were welcomed very lovely by the host and her daughter. She served delicious Sri Lankan food and was always checking whether everything was fine. The property is really beautiful and gives the feeling of an authentic jungle stay. The huts are small but cosy and mosquito nets are already provided. Sadly we booked our safari tour beforehand but the hosts of the eco village also offer safari jeep tours so we would highly recommend to book it with them. The brother of the host was also very friendly and took care that we get to the bus station on time to catch our bus to Hiriketyia. In total we would really recommend to stay at this place and get the chance to live with locals.

Situated in Tanamalwila, 34 km from Udawalawe National Park and 26 km from Tissa Wewa, Thanamal-villa features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden with a barbecue. I have had two awesome nights at this place. Expect a very basic but clean house and a fantastic owner. He organised all sorts of things for me, including a great safari. We were almost completely alone there and were able to marvel at a family of elephants with a baby twice. He showed me local traditions and I really enjoyed him as a host. In the morning I was able to watch playing monkeys for hours in front of the terrace. It was really fun.

Very nice comfortable house rooms, pleasant view, beutifull birds around singing. Peacefull place with very kind and helpfull people take care of you. Lots of animals around, monkeys jumping on the trees ( but not disturbing) peacocks running, squirrels etc The food is very good - u have to try breakfast and dinner. Hightly recommend

Set in Kataragama in the Monaragala District region, with Kataragama Temple nearby, Wadula Safari - Yala offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. deep in the forest. Very special experience. Staffs were very nice and food was delicious.
