Place is so beautiful, the garden is amazing, pool, resting areas, we got a studio which is the best room option and it is spacious with terrace, daylight, I can not describe it properly, its a Pure heaven :) we got very good breakfast, we could stay few more hours after check out…

Located 400 metres from Punta Uva Beach, Casa Viva Lodge provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. My God the piece of land where the property is located is impeccable it’s heavenly with all its greenery, trees and landscape. The bungalows are amazingly built, very clean and the privacy is great due to only having just a few scattered bungalows on such a spacious piece of land. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful which was another plus. Gabriel was amazing, very helpful, very friendly and very welcoming. My girlfriend and I would stay there again without question. There’s no food service but there’s everything in the kitchen to make meals and so many restaurants around in the area.

Nestled in the jungle amidst an enchanted botanical garden, 300m from Playa Grande, Wildlife Lodge Cahuita is the perfect getaway for nature lovers. We loved the place due to its big surrounding garden, which is stunning and beautifully taken care of, and the team there which is super welcoming. The delicious breakfast was a new experience every day. You can spot wild animals (birds, frogs, spiders ...) on the premises and can hear the howler monkeys and many other sounds at night. I loved the power outlet on the patio. We would definetely come back!

Satta Lodge offers you a unique experience in the heart of the Caribbean jungle and 700m from Cocles beach. Wow, what a beautiful and serene place this is! Luxurious bungalows, very clean and comfortable. The pool is so cool with all the plants. The restaurant is very good and breakfast is delicious. Just a jungle oasis outside of Puerto Viejo. Super friendly and helpful staff. We got great advice for our day trips and restaurants. One of our favorite places! Thank you so much!

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. The place is full of animals. In their garden you can see sloths, parrots, toucans, frogs, iguanas,even kinkajou. Pierre, the host was so nice and teached us how to find animals

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. We had a blast! Very received a very friendly welcome by the manager. The breakfast ($10 per person) was delicious and included toast, fresh juice, rice, eggs, pancake, coffee, fresh fruit, etc. This place is a gem. Thanks for having us!

Playa Grande Lodge & Tree House offers pet-friendly accommodation in Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 16 km from the property. Free WiFi is available throughout. Alberto was a perfect host, and Playa Grande was the most pleasant and comfortable place we stayed during our travels through the country. It felt like a home away from home. We slept so well, the breakfast was always wonderful, and Alberto was so helpful in providing us with tips and information on where to go and what to do. The entire property was beautiful, and our room was so peaceful and pretty. If I ever go back to Costa Rica, I plan to stay here again.
