We loved almost everything about this place. We were looking for somewhere quiet and secluded with amazing views. And we couldn’t have found anywhere better on all three counts. Idyllic.

Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake Arenal, the Arenal Volcano and... The place is a little all inclusive paradise. Staff is super nice and accommodating. Nature around is stunning. Yoga, guided tours, food, everything was amazing.

Featuring an extensive garden, furnished terraces with natural pools and rainforest-mountains views, the eco-friendly Rancho Margot is 700 metres from Caño Negro River and 3 km from Arenal Lake. The place is very well integrated in the nature and environment, very beautiful and relaxing. Many activities included in the price which kept us busy for 2 days (farm tour, yoga, pools). Very professional, friendly and polite staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Very good eat-as-you-want meals. We were picked up at the bus stop in La Fortuna which was very helpful.

The views were wonderful, just what we needed. The lake really brought some peace for us. Being able to enjoy some of the tourist attractions and returning to the quiet open spaces of the love cabin was very special for us. The cabin provided plenty of room for us. We enjoyed our mornings on the deck and had great views of the volcano daily. Definitely a place we will return to
