Lower Mountains Retreat, a property with barbecue facilities, is situated in Warrimoo, 48 km from Parramatta Station, 49 km from Rosehill, as well as 49 km from Rouse Hill Village Centre. A nice welcome message, a homely little chalet and self made traveler guides and suggestions for restaurants awaited me on arrival. The hosts (Hugh & Naomi) where both absolutely lovely to talk to and I enjoyed my time there. The house is very remote and spacious, the perfect place to relax after a day in the mountains -or- on rainy days sit in the roofed patio and enjoy the sounds of the rain.

Set amongst 8 acres of tree-lined lawns and gardens, guests at these self-contained cottages have access to a tennis court and heated indoor swimming pool. The welcoming quiet country feel.

Whispering Pines Cottages are close to the Blue Mountains National Park and restaurants. Very pretty and comfortable cottage. Great location close to several Blue Mountains hikes and waterfalls.

Boasting mountain views, The Bower at Wildside Sanctuary provides accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace, around 42 km from University of Western Sydney. EVERYTHING and that is very rare for me to say after having traveled around the world twice staying in many different places and countries. Our host was responsive, friendly, helpful and a pleasure to interact with. The location is remote and allows for peace, quiet and amazing bird watching. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Paradise Lodge - Blue Mountains Wonderland is a recently renovated holiday home in Linden, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. Stunning home!!! Everything about this place was classy, clean and comfortable. The views were exceptional. Such a rare and magical home to be able to stay in.

Set in Medlow Bath and only 9.3 km from Katoomba Scenic World, Heritage Log Cabin and Garden w Outdoor Hot Tub offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Gorgeous garden, beautiful David Austin roses. Great outdoor area with BBQ and hot tub. Spacious bedrooms and good sized living/dining room for our group of 9. Easy walk to local cafe and facilities at the Hydro Majestic.

Black Wattle Cabin Turon Escape Capertee is situated in Capertee. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Such a gorgeous outlook!! So many animals to spot. So much privacy and space!

WildLife Lodge Katoomba has a patio and is set in Katoomba, within just 1.9 km of Katoomba Scenic World and 1.4 km of The Three Sisters. Fire and heated bathroom tiles

Providing a terrace, Springmead Rustic Cabin features accommodation in Rydal. The property has lake and garden views, and is 50 km from Katoomba Scenic World. Absolutely everything about this place was amazing, beautiful views, really comfortable cabin with plenty of amenities. The fire was so cosy made us feel right at home! Marjory was just so lovely and helpful we couldn’t have asked for any better will definitely be staying here again

Rustic Spirit is located in Bilpin, 28 km from Penrith. The pet-friendly accommodation is air conditioned and is fitted with a spa bath. Katoomba is 34 km from the property. Getting back to nature. Great time to relax and unwind. Limited internet so plenty of time to do other things other than on your phone or screentime. Beautiful gardens and walking. Lots of birds. Would definitely come back for a longer stay.
