Just the loveliest homestay with all the comforts you could ask for. The restaurant offers fresh and tasty food for good prices and Gecko is just the most helpful and friendly host you could ask for. They also have the cutest dogs, which is always a bonus. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Location perfect, quiet. Family owned and operated, great team and service. VERY Clean and BEAUTIFUL courtyard. Great design and appointed. Good breakfast. Comfortable and not crowded. Rooms spacious. Nice balconies.

Linda, Linda and Linda. Fantastic service, friendly and easy to undertand, as she spoke english very well. She was flexible and fast in communication. We had some strughle with the transport to Cat ba ( flat tire on taxi och motor problems on ferry) that made our trip a challange, but Linda gelped us to find solution. Note, if travelling with a lit of luggage or with not so flexible teenagers, ask Linda for a transport that will go with you on the ferry ( car and driver). More expencive but more convinient. We did the misstake not to communicate that on advance. Beutiful garden, nice and big rooms, good food and good support regarding tour.

We rented two bungalows for our family trip, both were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the dinner was even better! The hosts were exceptional! Very friendly and helpful. They were able to organize cars, tours etc. I would 100% stay here again.

O lugar é muito bonito, decorado com flores, tem uma grande piscina e é muito tranquilo e silencioso. É necessário ter uma moto para se deslocar pois fica um pouco afastado do centro. Para quem quer algo mais tranquilo é uma excelente opção. O quarto estava sempre limpo e com toalhas novas.

What an amazing place! We stayed 2 nights at YEN and loved every minute of it! It‘s beautifully located at Butterfly valley, a real oasis away from the hassle at Cat Ba Town. We stayed in a bungalow which was great - bed was very comfortable, there were big windows and the bathroom was new and clean and there was always warm water available :) A definite highlight is the pool - big and clean and very nice way to cool down! You can see that there has been put a lot of thought in the decor and style, it all fits (from small details like the breakfast bowl to the bungalows and pool area). Another highlight are the owners, a lovely couple with great smiles, very friendly and helpful (they organised the transport from Cat Ba town as well as our onwards travel for us). We would have stayed longer if we hadn‘t booked the next destination already and are hoping to come back one day!
